Nice little park to go for a walk in. There's several monuments that pay homage to the different cultures that started Thunder bay. Beautiful flowers ?
A good place to wonder and explore the cultures in Thunder Bay year round. In the winter skate on the pond in the spring and summer watch the ducks and turtles
Had a nice morning at the Friendship Gardens. The trails are well maintained and there are lots of things to see. It is definetly worth going to check out all of the monuments and pavilions. There are lots of benches and places in the shade to cool down.
I enjoyed my afternoon stroll through the Friendship Garden. It's interesting to see the unique differences (and also similarities) represented in each of the 18 monuments. The park is clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully laid out.
This is a beautiful place to walk along the pathways around the ponds and monuments representing countries around the world. Each monument has a colourful garden in the summer.
Each year I like to watch the new ducklings learn to swim and grow in the ponds.
In the winter, the main pond turns into an outdoor skating rink.
