“I've been a customer of The Bookshelf for nearly 30 years and I've never had a bad experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the store always organized, clean, and well stocked. As its almost entirely a used bookstore, you won't find new releases and best sellers are often in and out quickly. For classics, old favorites, and books that were hot just a few weeks ago; you can count on finding something great to read. Books in lightly used condition are good for store credit (I think its still 25% cover price), and books purchased there are always returnable under the same conditions. Definitely the local Mecca for avid, spendthrifty readers.”

“The Indigo brougt to me a feeling of knowledge fullfilling. The books are categorized into many groups which could helps you find the familiar to the one you need. One big area is the one for kids which my kids just didn’t want to leave once they were there. There’s a way for the disability to go to the higher floor. The staff is really friendly and helpful to assist you find the one you need. The computer station help to find the need quickly, pay or order with slot for tag printing and one for bank card. For the international student like me, price is the main issue when deciding to buy an item here as comparing with one from Amazon.”

“The biggest used item store in Thunder Bay. Everything you need may be found here. The issues are price and tax. If you don’t care about price, come and pick up. The electronics area is my favourite. I can find the virtual glasses, speakers with reasonable price. I bought my snow pants here just 24$ and it did work perfectly for me in the passed three years. One lovely thing is clothings for kids within the reasonable price and variety.”
