OMG OMG OMG!!!
This place is delicious! I struggle a lot with my food allergies and it was super nice to see that this place has tons of options without gluten and of course being plant based, casein. The best? Super affordable prices.
I tasted the lavender London tea, Shut up!!!, it was delicious!. I also got an avocado toast. believe me is NOT the typical toast you will eat in your own place. The bread they use, and the toppings on top of the avocado, OMG!! it combined super.
I had also tasted the bakery section, the fact those Danishes did not contain butter shocked me, they are so yummy!
The environment, the colors they use, the furniture, the music, the staff is support knowledgeable and it all combined to perfection.
I am definitely coming back and cant wait to recommend this place to everyone I run into! ;)
Bright basement cafe with relaxing decor and a beach feel. Seating has enough for 15 people. Looks like the menu has an extensive list of fruit and vegetables including fruits bowls, smoothies, cold pressed juice and lunch mains with choices of "beyond meat" protein. Staff are friendly and was able to answer questions about the menu. Coffee is from Balzac's in Toronto. I had the "Kalein It" smoothie which states it has Kale but didn't taste it. It was a good balance of banana, almond butter and the dates. Will eventually try the other smoothies on another run out. Only criticism is I prefer impossible meat and want that option. Really would rate it a 4.5 stars if I could give it. Also sells some plant based cutlery and sustainable materials such as palm straws, brass and coconut spoons, and coconut bowls.
Overall: Bright cafe and nice place for a smoothie or vegan lunch on the east end.
THE BEST FRESH PRESSED JUICES I HAVE EVER TASTED! hands down the tastiest! Fresh, organic, delicious. I drove by on my way home from an appointment. I live 30 mins away and I've been back a few times now. Worth the drive!
The Plant Lyfe Cafe is a lovely plant-based/ vegan place with a bright and airy atmosphere. Yes, it's located in the basement, but it feels spacious and bright due to the large front windows, forming a light well.
The staff is super friendly and helped me to choose a the right type of plant milk for my iced vanilla lavender latte.
I also treated myself with the vegan (and gluten free) chocolate chip cookie 🍪 which was yummy.
I took a break and enjoyed my snacks on the outdoor patio.
Support this small business!!
