Bonjour Brioche

If my review were based entirely on the food alone, this is 5 stars. The actual food was absolutely delicious!

However, dining here is a different story. It was not very busy, and they have a wonderful patio, but the service was bad. Firstly, both water glasses and some of our cutlery had residual food on them, which is disgusting and kind of unacceptable. Secondly, the service itself took forever: for initial contact, ordering, and payment. The actual food arrived very quick, so I think it was the server that was bad since she was not the person who delivered the food. Also there was a weird surcharge that wasn’t explained to us that was the equivalent of 15%.

I would recommend this place ONLY as a take-out option because the meal was very, very tasty.

I’ll be honest and say that I’ve never sat inside / on their patio, and only came here once for takeout, and it was indeed delicious and fresh. The service was a little weird though, on a quiet weekday morning, the server cashing us out was not only impatient but also asked us for a tip - in other words, she turned the machine over and asked how much we want to tip. This was very awkward and we felt obligated to tip on takeout. Usually I’d tip anyway if the service was good and pleasant, but in this case I just felt forced to do it. Maybe just hand over the machine without calling attention to the tipping option, so people don’t feel uncomfortable.

This is a very cute place. You can smell the baked good from outside. I took a chai latte (this was really sweet, I wouldn't get it again) to go and an almond croissant which was delicious. I can't wait to go back to this place for brunch on the patio.
