The Dock On Queen

Great local coffee shop that looks & feels like a lakeside cottage. Friendly staff, great beverages and foods. They also host bands and comedy nights. A little neighborhood gem!

Sweet little place. Great venue with a real piano for live music. Cosy and it’s got all sorts of menu items. Alcoholic and non with teas and coffee and fancy drinks. Great place to head to for the evening.

Cute, kitschy, and cozy cottage decor with excellent coffee and treats. They serve alcohol (and have some recommended ways to add it to your traditional Cafe drinks), but personally the best part by far to me is the Kombucha on tap! (Sometimes I wish the glasses of it were a little bigger though, I seem to always be done it before I can finish my walk home)

Excellent vegan chilli and virtually unlimited vegan options for coffee whitener. I'm interested in their live music, open Mic nights, and live jazz! This the perfect place to sit by the fire and read a good story. I love the atmosphere and the gentleman who served me was exactly as good as you'd expect a coffee bar attendant to be. Food came out quick and this place everything you'd need (except a wheelchair accessible washroom, but what can you do when the facilities are in the basement?). I really love the place, and if you need a place to take off a load during the day, or you have to work through your lunch but you need a change of scenery, then head to The Dock and sit back and relax, they've got everything you need, even highchairs!

I wish I discovered this place sooner. I came in to do some work on the weekend and fell in love with the atmosphere. If you can't get away to the cottage, this place is a close second. There are lounge-ready couches, boardgames, a fully stocked menu (the tofu wrap is unreal), and live music. The first words that come to mind are Canadian & cozy.
