“This place has so much for everyone. There are multiple playgrounds within the near by school as well outside. Not to forget the turtle swings. Kids love it. There is also a water fountain as well which I always appreciate. It always is crowded by people which I personally like so you can meet or at the very least exchange smiles. Decent sitting spaces if you’re old like me, physically speaking of course. Also has a ???? pad for kids to play in and has many variations in them. You can spend hrs there with something for everyone to do here. Parking might be an issue so just park at the East York Town Center mall and walk over.”

In the Lead Dog Walking

Address: 7 Hassard Ave, East York, ON M4K 3N3, Canada

Park

“A phenomenal dog walking service! Rob is well organized, responsible, and accommodating with our shift-worker schedules. Our dog gets picked up in the morning and dropped back off in the afternoon, spending most of the day in a private off leash dog park. She's exhausted when I come home from work! Highly recommend this dog walking company.”

Leonard Linton Park

Address: 60 Research Rd, East York, ON M4G 2G8, Canada

Park

“A very cute park with unique rides for the kids. You get a feel of a high end equipment there as well as polished people around which is a given considering the living spaces around it. Almost hidden from one side of the park seems like a gem ???? found on the sideline. Skateboarding ???? basketball and playground for the kids. A little bit of everything or everyone even if you just enjoy the open the space. The best part? Water fountain right in the middle of it all with cold water ????????. I love it and so do my kids.”

“First visit to this park was for outdoor winter skating, would highly recommend! There is a good size indoor area with benches for changing into your skates. The rink itself is not too large, not too small, and not too busy (we visited on Family Day weekend). There were plastic push-things available for kids who are learning. We will definitely be going back.”

Livingstone Park

Address: 21 Woodville Ave, East York, ON M4K 2J5, Canada

Park

“Great little park. Fenced in to allow kids to play with little risk of getting onto the road (which is not high traffic anyway). But people need to do do a better job at closing the gate when they open it, maybe the city could install a spring which closes automatically? Anyway, great park for little kids, has a splash pad during the summer.”

“The East York Civic Centre is here. There is a Farmer's Market held here (not sure if it is once a week however i see it in the morning hours often). They keep the place very clean & more often than not it's calm, quite, & you can walk not bothered which is surprising as it is a sort of "highway" for people walking to work & school as there's a hospital beside it, & a high-school down the street & people walking dog's. Also you can enter / exit the park going South, North, West, East all with well constructed, grass surrounded, clean walkways. The Garden is immense near the South / S.West corners, with a smaller garden & some smaller trees surrounding multiple places to sit near the South E side of the park. There is also a gazebo (NorthWest corner) type structure that forms a half circle with brick walls that has flowers on-top & foliage around the walls, connected to one of the large gardens where you can sit. You can walk around the whole park in 10 - 15mins. During the fall, the day after Halloween they do a pumpkin walk- you can bring your old jack-o'-lanterns to the park. Whereas people will surround the walkways with the jack-o'-lanterns, giving them one more use, & creating a rare, fleetingly beautiful display. Also during November, on Remembrance Day they hold a ceremony in honour of the fallen & vets which has local squadrons from Air Cadets, Sea Cadets, Army Cadets ( i was in Air Cadets, as what i remember the cadets meet & form near the highschool down the street) that march over, into the park creating a beautiful display of homage for our Heroes (of past, present, with the future). Plus in winter, near Christmas time they have a very, very large Christmas tree in the North West side of the park, that they would schedule a lightning for.”
