“One of the better small libraries in Toronto. The library is quiet most of the time and can be a good place for one to study or work. However, make sure to avoid coming here between 3 PM to 5 PM on weekdays since hordes of students from the neighboring Zion Heights Middle School come here to (loudly) play video games.”

Scott Library

Address: 4700 Keele St, North York, ON M3J 2S5, Canada

Library

“Very spacious and very quiet throughout. Lots of natural light, but not a terribly great view on the bottom floor; the area with the little pool and art display seems rather dull. The staff are quite helpful and friendly. Very clean the times I've been here. Very easy going up and down the floors. The middle area looks nicer the higher you go. I really wish there were more power outlets by the seating areas on the side, where I can study in a separated booth. These seats are very isolating and calming, however I cannot spend much time there because I cannot access power outlets there. On the ground floor, I have tried several times to access the small isolated rooms for study groups, which requires booking, and they are almost always all filled, whether or not they are booked by the people in them.”

Toronto Public Library - Woodview Park Library

Address: 16 Bradstock Rd, North York, ON M9M 1M8, Canada

Library

“Great programs for a community library, and very helpful staff, really, I've seen them walk people through difficult application, forms, etc. However during weekdays it does get loud due to an oversaturation of school kids, and it becomes difficult to get a computer (make sure to book before hand).”

Seneca@York Library

Address: 70 The Pond Rd, North York, ON M3J 3M6, Canada

Library

“I come here a lot. Very crowded during the weekdays. People are not shy about making noise. Librarians are nice and helpful. Facilities are clean, although there's only 2 washrooms for men nearby with no ventilation and it always smells like someone who eat too much mexican burrito just took a dump”

Toronto Public Library - York Woods Library

Address: 1785 Finch Ave W, North York, ON M3N 1M6, Canada

Library

“This library has a lot of noise most of the times and the staff don't really control them, right now a man is making call really loud beside me and no one is saying anything as if it is normal. washroom could use some real cleaning. its mostly disgusting. no private study room.”

Toronto Public Library - Jane/Sheppard Library

Address: 1906 Sheppard Ave W, North York, ON M3L 1Y7, Canada

Library

“Amazing, just that one time I went, a older man sat beside me and was playing music with his headphones probably on max volume so I was able to hear the beat and voice. He also sat like a slob with his one foot on the chair, his dirty shoes on the chair where other people sit. He really got the 'feel at home' experience, that the only bad experience i got, would have put 4.5 stars but yea...( Yes i know that's not the library's fault but that's just, ughh),”

Toronto Public Library - Don Mills Library

Address: 2793 Keele St, North York, ON M3M 2G3, Canada

“very pleasant lady staff at the front desk, today, Nov 5, 2018. She explained and helped me get some online printing access. However, right or wrong, I had to pay one dollar for a plastic card. the 15 cents per page was not an issue, but paying for a card just cause it has some numbers on it....? I liked the quick access location of this library for my urgent email and printing need.”

Leslie Frost Library

“My favourite library! I can sit here for hours and study and relax I love the view of the garden”

Toronto Public Library - Brookbanks Library
