“One of the better small libraries in Toronto. The library is quiet most of the time and can be a good place for one to study or work. However, make sure to avoid coming here between 3 PM to 5 PM on weekdays since hordes of students from the neighboring Zion Heights Middle School come here to (loudly) play video games.”
Address: 35 Fairview Mall Dr, North York, ON M2J 4S4, Canada
“First, Toronto Public Libraries generally are amazing according to my visit to many of them. Second, Fairview Library is the best I have seen because of its wide area including kids department. Lastly, It’s the best place for reading books for kids.”

“One of my favorite places in the neighborhood. Whether i have to study for an upcoming exam or just hang out on a Saturday afternoon catching up on some new reads. Also, the staff is super helpful and trying to answer your questions or resolve issues and also always trying to make you feel welcome. keep up the great work !”

“The best library ever, with the best reference books, suitable for science students who are willing to focus effectively on STUDYING. Staffs are absolutely friendly and are willing to help. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆∞”

“It is a nice place to see at the shopping mall! I believe that this location will be here only a few years while the library building's renovation takes place.”

“Love this location. We have been to many locations, but this one is by far, our favourite. Not so overwhelming, always so clean and tidy. They are always running programs for kids to participate in and have an amazing relationship with the nearby school. A true gem in our community!”

Address: 578 Finch Ave W, North York, ON M2R 1N7, Canada
“Plenty of seating and tables arranged in one area by the windows facing Finch. Outlets on walls and floor near tables. A more efficient space arrangement with more bookshelves and separate seating areas may alleviate noise complaints while expanding the collection.”

“A good resource place to visit.”

Address: 4700 Keele St, North York, ON M3J 2S5, Canada
“Very spacious and very quiet throughout. Lots of natural light, but not a terribly great view on the bottom floor; the area with the little pool and art display seems rather dull. The staff are quite helpful and friendly. Very clean the times I've been here. Very easy going up and down the floors. The middle area looks nicer the higher you go. I really wish there were more power outlets by the seating areas on the side, where I can study in a separated booth. These seats are very isolating and calming, however I cannot spend much time there because I cannot access power outlets there. On the ground floor, I have tried several times to access the small isolated rooms for study groups, which requires booking, and they are almost always all filled, whether or not they are booked by the people in them.”

“Local branch with a warm carpet+wood+brick interior punctuated by windows to let in some light. Lots of tables with chargers.”
Address: 16 Bradstock Rd, North York, ON M9M 1M8, Canada
“Great programs for a community library, and very helpful staff, really, I've seen them walk people through difficult application, forms, etc. However during weekdays it does get loud due to an oversaturation of school kids, and it becomes difficult to get a computer (make sure to book before hand).”

“I come here a lot. Very crowded during the weekdays. People are not shy about making noise. Librarians are nice and helpful. Facilities are clean, although there's only 2 washrooms for men nearby with no ventilation and it always smells like someone who eat too much mexican burrito just took a dump”
Address: 1785 Finch Ave W, North York, ON M3N 1M6, Canada
“This library has a lot of noise most of the times and the staff don't really control them, right now a man is making call really loud beside me and no one is saying anything as if it is normal. washroom could use some real cleaning. its mostly disgusting. no private study room.”
Address: 1906 Sheppard Ave W, North York, ON M3L 1Y7, Canada
“Amazing, just that one time I went, a older man sat beside me and was playing music with his headphones probably on max volume so I was able to hear the beat and voice. He also sat like a slob with his one foot on the chair, his dirty shoes on the chair where other people sit. He really got the 'feel at home' experience, that the only bad experience i got, would have put 4.5 stars but yea...( Yes i know that's not the library's fault but that's just, ughh),”

“The best quiet library all staff is very nice helpful , I really like this library a lot of different business books I feel very good thanks for opportunity”
Address: 2793 Keele St, North York, ON M3M 2G3, Canada
“very pleasant lady staff at the front desk, today, Nov 5, 2018. She explained and helped me get some online printing access. However, right or wrong, I had to pay one dollar for a plastic card. the 15 cents per page was not an issue, but paying for a card just cause it has some numbers on it....? I liked the quick access location of this library for my urgent email and printing need.”
Address: 2275 Bayview Ave, North York, ON M4N 3M6, Canada
“My favourite library! I can sit here for hours and study and relax I love the view of the garden”
Address: 210 Brookbanks Dr, North York, ON M3A 2T8, Canada
“This library is pretty small in comparison to other locations in Toronto. They have a great selection of books, but if your looking for a bigger space with more books you should go to the Fairview Mall location.”
