Good chocolate. Visited during Christmas and was very busy.
This place is an absolute delight. I stumbled upon their King West location in 2014 and I've been going to both locations (King West and Distillery) since then. They serve two flavours of hot chocolate (classic or spicy Mayan). You can either have them as a shot or dilute them with water or milk. I've tried the shot and although the first sip was great, it was a bit too intense for my liking. I like my hot chocolate with half milk, half water. They offer a great selection of gelatos in the summer and fall. My favourites are Sicilian pistachio, roasted almond and roasted hazelnut. The Sicilian pistachio is almost always sold out (for scoops) but you can always buy a tub. Try the blueberry basil sorbet if you're looking for a fresh flavour. Their coconut sorbet is so creamy and makes for a dairy free alternative to gelato. In terms of chocolate, my wife and I's favourite is the Old School Milk chocolate bar which is a milk chocolate bar made in the old fashioned way. It has a great texture and flavour. Their other chocolate bars are like a whirlwind taste tour of the world. They even have a 100% chocolate bar if you're feeling adventurous. They also have great gift baskets which you can customize.
I love this place so much. The staff are really kind and everything you eat there is amazing and totally worth the price.
LOVE! Amazing, good quality & delicious chocolate... MMM!
The amazing creations they produce are delicious. Great gifts and really interesting twists to their offerings like a chocolate birch branch, or the salami. Very cool.
