Sved Michael Dr

This is my second pregnancy with Dr. Sved.

First was with my son and throughout the pregnancy he has always been attentive and responsive to any questions/concerns I had. There was nothing alarming in my first pregnancy, all went smoothly until my induction (due to GD). Another doctor performed my emergency c section and Dr. Sved came to see me before my operation to calm my nerves (before he headed to his scheduled c-section). He then visited me after the c-section during my recovery to see how I was doing.

This time (scheduled c section), during the anatomy scan it showed my son has enlarged ventricals in the brain. I was devastated and extremely emotional, Dr. Sved tried to reassure me in the office (wasn't going to work since I was breaking down). At this time I ended up with an UTI and at the hospital, prolonged stay due to developing another UTI (family doctors antibiotics didn't work). Dr. Sved came to visit and updated me on why I am here a little longer than normal. Also informed he will try to schedule another ultrasound to check up on my sons ventriculomegaly ( borderline) while continuing to reassure me that my sons brain development is normal.

In the end I had my healthy 8.8 pound son and hes perfect. Many thanks to Dr. Sved for the reassurance and making the planned c section a walk in the park.

Be prepared for the occasional long wait times. He's worth the wait.

Best doctor I have experienced. His staff is awesome.

I was referred to Dr. Sved by a friend and I couldn't be happier that he's my Gynaecologist. He's so knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I recently got a surgery done by him at Mount Sinai and it went very smoothly. It was my first surgery ever, so I was super nervous about it, but Dr. Sved and his whole team at Mount Sinai were incredibly understanding, meticulous and professional which made me feel really calm and comfortable about the surgery. His nurse Irene and secretary Meagan are also such lovely people! His office IS really busy, so the initial wait could be a bit long, but it's totally worth the wait. My recovery since surgery is also going well, thanks to Dr. Sved!

Best doctor I have experienced ! First pregnancy and I feel safe and comfortable. His nurse is absolutely amazing as Well.

I've been going to Dr Sved for many years and my experience has always been extremely positive. He is super efficient and caring with all his patients. It is obvious he loves what he does and his staff is awesome too!
