They helped us to create a customized cocktail reception, communicated with us all along the way and provided professional and exceptional service the day of that had us relaxed and enjoying our big day. They left our kitchen cleaner than when they arrived. All of our guests raved about the food! We ordered 4 small bites and 4 small plates and each guest loved something different. A major standout though were the braised beef short ribs. Well worth the price for a smooth and decadent experience.”

I had hoped that the Health Freak would have been on a whole wheat bun or rye or something like that (instead of the usual white bun), but that's understandable.. I don't think there would be too much demand for that. The vanilla milkshake was standard. Nice staff, good service. They have a very nice patio at the back. Food is halal.”

“Probably one of the best if not the best pizza place in Toronto right now. The pepperoni and mushroom pie is a highlight. Great patio and excellent service although be prepared to wait for about an hour in the evenings as it is walk in only. The staff are phenomenal and will do their best to accommodate you in a timely manner. Only tiny, tiny criticism of this otherwise perfect pizza is that it is slightly on the greasier side.”

“Had such a lovely experience at Sunnyside Provisions today! When you walk in, the shop instantly has such a good vibe — beautiful displays of food, sauces, peppers, etc. The shop is divided into different areas — some for frozen items, bottle wines, or fun ciders if you are looking! Talked to Layla, one of the owners and she explained how each item in the shop has been used, loved and recommended by one of the workers. From hot sauces to pre-made scone mixes, everything has been chosen by hand. Really excited to see this place take off. Such a warm welcome to the neighbourhood; I loved the roast beef sandwich I ordered and my roommate loved her inexpensive vegetarian option.”

The different types of smoked and cured salmon and trout are all fantastic as well. Their fish got me in the door but the superb customer service keeps me coming back. The young team of knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating staff working here consistently makes shopping at De La Mer an enjoyable experience. This high level of service is rare in my experience and is a credit to both the individual staff and the training they've received from the management! “Very good variety. They have many products and display them nicely, not like other health food stores. You can find a lot and there's still room to move around. They also have some items in bulk which I liked and pretty much everything I saw was organic. The personnel are really kind and have helped me out with shopping. They gave me information on what they knew and didn't try to sell me anything I wasn't looking for. They even ordered items that they did not have in stock for me to pick up at a later date. This was a big plus for me. The prices are reasonable, and in my opinion, favourable to other similar stores in the area. They adhere to safety protocols nicely too so I feel more comfortable shopping inside the store. All around, I'd say this is definitely a Beaches staple and a well deserved first-stop when shopping for home goods.”
