Commander Park

Address: 140 Commander Blvd, Scarborough, ON M1S 3H7, Canada

Park

“It's an ok arena. There are two pads. The dressing rooms are on the smaller side but the lobby is spacious. The location is accessible for mobility impaired persons. The rinks are sunk down from player benches so small players can actually watch the game. The bleachers have heaters but they weren't on. There is a canteen. The bus stops directly in front of the building on both sides of the street. There is no parking in front of the building on Commander Rd. The parking at the rear was quite busy and snowy so it was difficult to park. The front walk was also snow covered making it hard for little children to pull hockey bags or people with walkers to use. There is a nice park bench by the front door and another closer to the street. There is ample seating in the lobby. If you found my review helpful, give me a thumbs up.”

Rosewood Pet Resort

Address: 15 Reesor Rd, Scarborough, ON M1X 1R5, Canada

Park

“We feel fortunate to have discovered Rosewood for Dash and Junior. For over 3 years, we’ve had peace of mind, whether for a day of fun and frolic or an extended vacation, we know they are not just having fun but are safe and well cared for. Everything about Rosewood is architected for the safety and enjoyment of the time the dogs spend there, which is exhibited when they come home happy and tired. Much to our chagrin it’s hard to get Dash in the car even when bribed with “let’s go home for dinner”. Kudos to Sandy and the Rosewood team for their expertise in caring for our pets with genuine affection and for the obvious love and pride they take for what they do. Thanks from Diana, Dash & Junior”

Knob Hill Park

“We had our engagement shoot here at Golden hour and it was lovely. We have never been to this park before but our photographer recommended it (her name is Jackie Patterson, also highly recommend) it's a loop around park with little hideaway spots perfect for photos and lots of scenic backgrounds all throughout. There is one part of the area that had quite a few mosquitoes, it's a hidden area so best to avoid that unless you want to get bit a lot. There's a large soccer field at the entrance and a small parking lot as well.”

Bluffers Park, Scarborough. ON

Address: 52 Bluffers Park, Scarborough, ON M1M 3W3, Canada

Park

“We were in the city to see a play and decided to plan this sightseeing tour for the next day. We really enjoyed the visit. We got there around 9:30 am on a Sunday morning and the parking lot for the beach was completely full with lots of people still searching for parking spots. We were able to find a spot in the marina lot and decided to start our exploring there. What a beautiful walk. We happened upon a location in the park that was filming for a tv series (I think). It was open to exploring but we were not allowed to touch or remove anything as they were not filming that day. What an amazing area to look at and take pictures. We also went to see an area that had an ecosystem for looking at. We happened across a crane and watched it for quite a while. We spent a couple of hours here but easily could have spent the whole day. it was very hot and we were not prepared for that much time. If we ever go back, we will have to plan more as well as familiarize ourselves with the entire Bluffs area to fully appreciate its beauty!”
