“Beautiful park! Amazing programming. A peaceful place for your children to play. Named after a great Canadian role model Major Muhammad Abbas Ali, who believed in serving humanity irrespective of religion, colour or ethnicity.”

“A sweet little park in the neighborhood. It has a tiny hill with a old tree on top. Therefore the hill is a great place for relaxing in summer and can be used to play sledding in winter.”

“This park offers two soccer fields, one smaller than the other. It also has two baseball diamonds and a playground. Keep in mind that the grounds are not maintained (mowing, grading and de-weeding) 100%. Great place to feed squirrels....they're extra friendly there.”

“This has been redone and they have all new state of the art children play area, nice tables and benches to sit at - very neat - a nice place to take your children or grandchildren and also a pleasant walking area.”

“Terry Fox is possibly Canada's greatest hero! After losing a leg to cancer, he ran 5,300 km to raise awareness about cancer and over $750 million has been raised in his name. Although there is nothing unique or terribly remarkable about the park, it's a great place to pay respect to a great Canadian.”

“Give it a four star, deducting one star because first of all city should have included a child care centre and secondly they opened this play area when most of the summer is about to get over and it's going to be closed in the winter”

“Beautiful grounds. Lovely view of the lake. Spectacular place for a wedding. They have a covered open area where the wedding ceremony was conducted. The staff at the Guild Inn Estate complied with COVID rules, and did a great job of keeping the facilities sanitized. Its also open to the public, so you can stroll and enjoy the lovely sculptures.”

“It's just a bit of green space with a few trees and 2 bench seats. Somebody in the neighbourhood dropped off an old picnic table. Fine if you want to sit and watch traffic on Danforth Ave.”

“Nice park with a good sized playground area for kids. There isn't a parking lot.”

“It's an ok arena. There are two pads. The dressing rooms are on the smaller side but the lobby is spacious. The location is accessible for mobility impaired persons. The rinks are sunk down from player benches so small players can actually watch the game. The bleachers have heaters but they weren't on. There is a canteen. The bus stops directly in front of the building on both sides of the street. There is no parking in front of the building on Commander Rd. The parking at the rear was quite busy and snowy so it was difficult to park. The front walk was also snow covered making it hard for little children to pull hockey bags or people with walkers to use. There is a nice park bench by the front door and another closer to the street. There is ample seating in the lobby. If you found my review helpful, give me a thumbs up.”

“We feel fortunate to have discovered Rosewood for Dash and Junior. For over 3 years, we’ve had peace of mind, whether for a day of fun and frolic or an extended vacation, we know they are not just having fun but are safe and well cared for. Everything about Rosewood is architected for the safety and enjoyment of the time the dogs spend there, which is exhibited when they come home happy and tired. Much to our chagrin it’s hard to get Dash in the car even when bribed with “let’s go home for dinner”. Kudos to Sandy and the Rosewood team for their expertise in caring for our pets with genuine affection and for the obvious love and pride they take for what they do. Thanks from Diana, Dash & Junior”

“We had our engagement shoot here at Golden hour and it was lovely. We have never been to this park before but our photographer recommended it (her name is Jackie Patterson, also highly recommend) it's a loop around park with little hideaway spots perfect for photos and lots of scenic backgrounds all throughout. There is one part of the area that had quite a few mosquitoes, it's a hidden area so best to avoid that unless you want to get bit a lot. There's a large soccer field at the entrance and a small parking lot as well.”

“I didn't know there was such a beautiful place so close to the city. I would definitely recommend this place for a swim, hike barbecue or just a nice walk along the shore. The bluffs also look amazing.”

“We were in the city to see a play and decided to plan this sightseeing tour for the next day. We really enjoyed the visit. We got there around 9:30 am on a Sunday morning and the parking lot for the beach was completely full with lots of people still searching for parking spots. We were able to find a spot in the marina lot and decided to start our exploring there. What a beautiful walk. We happened upon a location in the park that was filming for a tv series (I think). It was open to exploring but we were not allowed to touch or remove anything as they were not filming that day. What an amazing area to look at and take pictures. We also went to see an area that had an ecosystem for looking at. We happened across a crane and watched it for quite a while. We spent a couple of hours here but easily could have spent the whole day. it was very hot and we were not prepared for that much time. If we ever go back, we will have to plan more as well as familiarize ourselves with the entire Bluffs area to fully appreciate its beauty!”

“Great park, can make it better with a full court basketball court instead of a double rim hoop. Expanding it is possible as well.”
