I like the store a lot. Let's start with accessibility: Public transit is a great option. Bus stops on both sides of the road. If one chooses to drive parking wraps around the corner of the store where the entrance/exit is. So, you always parked near the doors.
They have a great variety of fresh produce. I love their bakery section with a choice of European breads. Good prices too. Deli, fish and meat departments have everything prepackaged and reasonably priced. It's relatively compact store, so one can easily maneuver through the aisles. My favorite are three international aisles. Hope this was helpful.
This FreshCo always has items in stock - both produce as well as other grocery items. Even if the item is high-demand, on their flyer and marked at a discount, they always have enough stock for the entire week - which I cannot say for many stores here in KW. The reason for 4 stars vs. 5 is because some of the cashiers are a bit cold/rude. But if you go late night closer to closing hours, the cashiers working night shifts are much nicer and it's a more pleasant check-out experience.
Edit: in light of the pandemic, my edit has to do with the lackluster attempt at Covid precautions. Too many people are crammed in the store every time I visit. It's not a big store, so for there to be a half dozen people in every aisle and every line at the same time seems a bit much. Maybe I'm just going at the busy time.
Best grocery store for basic items. Produce always has best prices. Meat selection is decent. Great international aisle.
