“Helpful librarians make up for its size and resources available. Books and DVD's can be special-ordered. My daughter has participated in marvelous programs including the Echo Book Club (last year) and the S.T.E.A.M. Program (this year.) The library now has a charging station and a light to support those suffering with S.A. D. There's a cozy seating area by the magazines. I do wish they had a few more of those cozy chairs. (The recent changes on the main floor and the empty space created leads me to believe there will be more seating added, maybe? Finally, there is a washroom with a hot water tap. The only reason I have given it a four star (instead of a five) is that there SHOULD be a water fountain with a water bottle refill tap available to the public. Though we may ask to get a glass of water, it's uncomfortable for library patrons to either ask staff to fetch a glass of water or to request the ability to enter a space that is not supposed to be accessible to the general public. It would seem 'doable' to add a fountain beside the public washroom on the main floor (obviously, the plumbing is THERE. I am guessing it is due to cost. Still, it's ridiculous that a public building does not have a drinking fountain (or a water cooler) available for its citizens.”
