“Lots of items to borrow instead of buying, with an up-to-date inventory on their website. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the workshops are fun and high quality, and you get to take home everything you make, and sometimes some materials or instructions too! I love being able to borrow instead of buy for infrequent jobs and fixes, and trying out new items I wouldn't have had the opportunity to otherwise. I frequently borrow the sewing machine and have just recently discovered their amazing Braiser.”

“Commenting as a parent (I didn't have an opportunity to check out the adult section). This is a great library for kids with a good selection of books. The children's area has a few tables for activities or to read at, and they had puzzles, colouring, and lego. We came for some new books but stayed for quite a while enjoying the library activities. We've also come here for the bee keepers talks, which was also fantastic.”

“In case you didn't realize, Idea Exchange is what we call the library in Cambridge. Ours is great! The catalog is on computer and there are extra computers that you can sign on to use for limited amounts of time. There are also study or meeting rooms that you can book and we have three branches. I go to the Queen Street one there's also one in Hespeler and in Preston. You can request books from the other branches and they will transfer them in for you. There are also events that take place. There are authors reading their books, children's programs, Etc and at the Queen Street branch there is a beautiful grand piano where some recitals and small concerts take place in the lobby.”

“Just love this place. Much more than a library, also a community hub, a place for dreams and inspiration, a creative centre for the arts, and a refuge from a hostile world for young and not-so-young alike. I hope we never have to do without these treasures.”

“Great library on campus. A really useful section is the napping section for students - honestly, I'm not sure why more larger student libraries don't offer this. As a student I constantly felt exhausted from long study hours and a quick nap in between classes was always helpful”

“A very pretty library inside and out with nice and helpful staff that will make sure you get the book you're looking for. Ran into some issues with my library card there, but other than that it's just a nice library put simply.”

“(OP Edit March 2020) - I honestly can't remember when it opened back up- but oh my!!! There's at least 3 different gymnasiums now that I saw (I only took a brief look) I haven't taken a closer look at the groups being offered now- but I need to get on that (I'd love for my little guy to do a couple programs over the summer before school starts ☺️)”

“Really big library. Good online e-book & audiobook selections. Wish they were open longer and more often. Huge children's section and lots of comics upstairs as well.”

“Amazing helpful staff. They were even able to bring in an older book not held by local libraries that was special to my grandfather so that I could read it to my son. Bright clean atmosphere. Children's programs, and great variety of newer dvd rentals as well, and if something isn't here have it brought in from the catalog :)”

“An interesting place to drop off a few used books, or pick up and return some. Only a few of the Little Libraries in KW are shown on Google Maps. There are many more listed in llkw.ca and even some not on the llkw list. You can also visit the Facebook page, Little Libraries of KW.”
