“A great go to for the classic poutine without costing too much. This review is strictly for the poutine where ive gone for the past 10+ years. There are two locations in st Jacobs. One is outdoors and another is indoors at one of the buildings. The fries come out piping hot and fresh. A good ratio of crisp exterior to plump but not overly plumpy interior. Cheese curds are used here and due to the hot gravy it melts appropriately as it should. Small poutine now cost $6.64. They also serve sweet potato fries, hot dogs and chicken fingers. Gravy is just right - flavourful and not salty for the standard poutine.”

“This is a hidden gem with consistently superb cuisine. Pad Thai is so tasty, it was very fresh and a good proportion of noodles to vegetables to protein. More than that , I don’t like nuts so they kept it on the side and didn’t mix it in (I didn’t specify). ,100% recommending. Wonton soup was wonderful and full veggies,which is something you don't usually see and BBQ pork was really good saucey. They serve lovely food,infused with a fantastic balance of spices and herbs. MY husband and I went with GILT for our wedding this past weekend after learning that they were a nut free catering company - something incredibly important to us. Our decision was only reinfored when we tried their food for the first time - words cannot describe how absolutely mouth watering everything was. “Sweet Caroline how sweet this is. I was a patron of this establishment on 21/06/22 1800. This place had tons of variety of sweets from a large selection of scoops of ice cream to jars of cookie dough and cheesecakes maroons were decorated so cute. The ambiance was relaxing! Calming a very soothing place to be after recouping from surgery. I forgot to mention they also had candy and movie theatre popcorn. The staff working tonight were the nicest brightest stars I’ve ever encountered and so helpful. Thank you for making our experience AWESOME! We will be back.”

“We had fish and chips on Friday. One piece haddock did the two of us. Batter was light and crisp. Fish was perfect. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside. Coleslaw was finely chopped, slightly sweet, and cold. I have never had a better fish and chips dinner. Also, the takeaway box was solid and waxed so we were able to eat without making a mess.”

Waitress asked my wife and I including our 10 year old son for proof of vaccination (mind you in their defence he is really tall lol.) Felt like a clean, safe place.
