challenging trail with beautiful waterside views approximately 11 km out and back
Perfectly kept, even after the devastation of Fiona storm.
The trails can be hard going, it is a hilly area so if you find yourself on a downhill expect an uphill soon.
Some trails would be ideal for mountain biking as they have little jumps and hills in, others are ideal for romantic trail walks as they are right by a beautiful view or river.
I won't say which....you will just have to try each one and see for yourself.
Park is closed now, we visited on 16th October, Sunday. There's a parking space with a view outside park. It's a nice place to stop by to admire the view of river and valley
Great hiking trail. 20 minute drive from downtown Charlottetown. Coming from QC we actually thought that the signage was quite clear! We started at the main entrance and took the goat trail detour for a nice view of the lake. It took us around 3 hours. Just FYI the trail is a loop but it does not end directly in the parking lot where you start. You have to cross the highway to get back. Would recommend!
Great place for a hike. Lot’s of hills very peaceful and quiet
