“I visited this location on May 31. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and a cherry stick. The food was good but the real standout was the service I received from Dee. He was personable, attentive and welcoming. I don't go to Tim Hortons often but I would be much more inclined to visit if more of the employees were like Dee.”

“Prince Edward Island fresh beef patty! Gently placed on the grill and never flattened! This allows a beautiful well-cooked beef patty with the essential flavour left inside for you to enjoy! Placed neatly on a homemade hamburger bun, toasted on the grill, and covered with your favorite fresh condiments. French fries are hand-cut PEI Potatoes and so good! Will be back again!”

“An unexpected gem at the Charlottetown Airport. After a harrowing drive through torrential rain, we needed to dry out and warm up before our flight. The waitress kindly allowed me to order the lobster omelette even though it was a couple of minutes past the 11am cutoff. The omelette was delicious and a good value, served with exactly the right amount of toast. I got the tater tots as a side and they may have been the best tater tots I've had anywhere. My husband got the chicken fingers and fries and they were also fresh and hot.”

“This particular store consistently makes great subs. Other places aren't quite as good. Better training, or staff that cares a little more? Anyway, I see emergency staff order from here, and you know they can't be off sick!”

“Great friendly service, fresh hot coffee, and the baked goods display was perfect. I have never seen a Tim's display of donuts, muffins, cookies, croissants, pastries, timbits and scones so well stocked, tidy and eye-catching. I mean the timbits were almost stacked. This was fantastic. Definitely going back tomorrow before I leave PEI to return to BC”

“Mall food court burger place with a burger comparable to McDonald’s but not in a good way. Ketchup and mustard on a burger is a bad sign. The meat wasn’t the best. The food was mediocre. It’s cheap and that’s the only good thing. Would not recommend. Reevaluating in light of response of owner. It wasn’t the best but it was not one star bad.”

“Goat is good taste. But base on its price, it should be more weight. And fried chicken, probably I would not choose again, dry but size big enough. Spicy sauce is a special star, every one should try, in my mind, it is not too spicy. Would come back, if there is any chance.”

“The selection of food was good for buffet, but hasn't changed much over the past several years. The price was about double the last time I was there, which has been a number of years. The service is very good.”

“The best coffee in PEI. We have had an opportunity to visit this location as well as their location at Confederation Landing. We've been blown away by the service and friendliness of the staff, and even more impressed by the coffee and tea. Spoke with one of the staff members, indicated that their main roast at the time was from the Honduras. We keep coming back because it is delicious. They also have a variety of freshly baked breads, including sourdough, you can take home. Daily food specials and desserts, and love that there's an option for a sangria or mimosa. Great stop and will keep coming back.”

“We were a bit let down by the limited flavor options they had available. We wanted to try the PEI Bacon and Apple Jelly, but when we requested it without the bacon, they refused. It would have been great if they could have been more flexible and accommodating to individual preferences. We decided to go for the Classic and PEI Tomato and Fresh Basil grilled cheese sandwiches, and they were quite tasty. The tomato and basil one, in particular, had a delightful combination of flavors. We also ordered coleslaw side that was nice. But, when we looked for salt and pepper on the tables to add a little extra kick, there was none in sight! Also, there was no whole-wheat bread option available. We had to settle for white bread.”

“I was lucky enough to go here twice on a recent trip to PEI. Service was fantastic each time. I enjoy a beer flight the first visit, a great way to sample their offerings and figure out what I liked. Had appetizers on both visits. The mussels were a hit with my companions, the cooking broth was very tasty. Nachos were a good sized portion to share and wings were flavourful. The patio is a really nice feature with great views.”

“Mmm! Burgers! I love me a good burger and this one measured up! Paired with their fresh cut fries, the option to customize and the great crew made the whole experience awesome. It’s location, especially if you want to enjoy some of the world’s best ice cream (Cows), completes the overall package.”

“We were looking for something different in the area and we were glad we found Jollof House. We had both items on the menu and we were happy with our choice to stop here. The chicken was delicious, the soup was so delicious. The rice was super flavorful and we enjoyed the spice level. The food needs to be excellent if there are only two choices. We will be back when we get back to the island.”

“The cafe lives up to its name. The atmosphere, the food, the service definitely has an air of grace in every aspect of the restaurant. The food and service quality is well above average. You can tell they care about their guests with the precision of the food preparation. Everything seemed to be cooked and plated perfectly. They seem to genuinely care about every aspect of the business and try to make each customer feel welcome. Though the prices are on par with every other diner/cafe, and there's no menu option for a large meal, those choices also help to create the graceful atmosphere. If the prices were cheaper, the place would be packed, and if they served larger meals, you'd feel too full. It's a great location to pop in and pop out without feeling like you've overdone something. It seems that a lot of the patrons were regulars who left Maids.”

“Went for the Horse Racetrack for the first time and really enjoyed our experience. Staff is very friendly and was able to give us a crash course, we ended up winning our first race! They have a small casino section, didn’t really bother to enter the space. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and they even offer all you can eat dinner! For around $40/ person. Good experience!”

“I love this Restaurant, the atmosphere is fantastic, the food is always great, lots to choose from and prepared so well, presented so beautifully. Everything tastes divine. Starting from the chowder, biscuits and home made rolls, to the salad bar, my all time favourite to the main dishes, lots to choose from and always tastes so goooood and if that’s not enough, wait till you see the desert section, so much to choose from although the white chocolate and raspberry bread pudding is my all time favourite! The staff are the Best, cheerful, smiling ready to help you with everything. They keep the drinks coming and the tea and coffee too , they really make your visit an enjoyable one, take it from me, I keep going back every chance I get! Oh yes, if you like the horse races, this is the spot for you, sit back relax, watch the races in comfort and they’ll place your bets and cash you out too!”

“Food is undoubtedly good. We ordered a sea food pizza and sea food panzarotti. They were good, but very similar. So I would not suggest to order them together. Yes, the texture was different like the server said, but the taste isn't much different. Chilli flakes did a bit of a trick for pizza. Local beer and wines are good. The Salad was great. I appreciate limited dressing on a ceasar salad. Too bad that we couldn't devour desserts as we were too full.”

“Superb food! They only had half their menu available when we were there, but what they did have was FANTASTIC! We had the deep dish pizza and a chicken quesidilla. Fresh, delicious and perfectly cooked. Good sized portions also! They were short staffed but they hustled and got the job done. Would highly recommend this relaxed atmosphere place.”

“A small place located close to the confederation trail offering some truly delicious ciders. Red Island Cider is locally owned distillery producing some amazing ciders. There is a 6 flight option available for only $15. They have hand pies but they need 45 minutes to make. The people working there are super friendly. There is outdoor and indoor seating. You can buy cider to take home.”
