“Best place to stay on PEI. We had such a good time staying at Holman’s Heritage Suites! The service was prompt, thoughtful and helpful. The accommodations were so spacious, clean and comfortable. The rooms and building were beautiful. The price was so reasonable. Location so convenient to the Charlottetown airport as well as to access to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. We’ll never forget waking up and walking downstairs to the delicious smell of fresh waffle cones being homemade for their ice cream parlor (the best on PEI!), and just to make sure we don’t forget, we will for sure go and stay there again!”

“We had the pleasure of staying at the Summerside Inn for our wedding weekend. I contacted Mary-Anne to book the entire inn (all four rooms) for the weekend of my wedding. Mary-Anne was fantastic to work with and help me to coordinate all the details as I needed in the year leading up to my wedding and was so open to my questions and requests. We had people in and out the morning of the wedding from makeup, hair, and photographers to family and friends. We had photos taken all over the Inn and Mary-Anne was so fantastic to provide recommendations and ideas for locations. We were greeted with amazing coffee and fresh breakfast in the mornings. The location was beautiful, and the home was absolutely stunning. I could not recommend the Summerside Inn enough, I cannot wait to return to PEI and stay here on a less busy weekend to enjoy the beauty of the home again. Special thank you to Mary-Anne for making this such a successful weekend and unforgettable stay.”

“Nice room. Quiet. Bathrooms were also clean and tidy. The building is dated but that is not an issue. It would be nice to offer a quick breakfast or a voucher toward the restaurant on site.”

“I was told my room would be available around 1, but it was not available until 3 p.m. the gentleman who answered the phone was very polite and courteous and offered me and option of going for a swim in the pool well I waited for the room. That's what I ended up doing with my year old. The room ended up being ready at 2:30, and everything seemed fine when I first went in the room. We both got showers. The vent and bathroom light were running but after that light and fan ran for a few hours the bathroom developed a terrible smell. Mildew and bacteria. I kept bathroom door closed. My sister rented a room and did not have this issue. Beds were super comfy. Rooms are good size! Coffee is excellent!”

“I visited this place long time ago. A superbly friendly family run place. My kids still have the memories and kept the contact with the owners children. It was one of the best summer vacations we had. I wish I can go back again.”

“I was forced to leave a terrible review for Twin Shores in PEI, so thought it only fitting to leave a positive review for those who deserve it... And Crystal Beach DEFINITELY deserves it!! The campground is a little dated but clean, the pool and splash pad are awesome and the kids said they like it here more than Twin Shores! This place is definitely a hidden gem!!”

“Clean, very nice room, with a nice private deck at the back. I stayed for 3 days and felt so at home. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker, beautiful modern bathroom, great water pressure, and such a comfortable bed. This motel is family owned and the pride they take in making it a great place is evident. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Summerside PEI!”

“The motel is not brand-new but the owners keep it clean and well-maintained. It was comfortable and convenient there. The location is good. Owners are welcoming and open to talk/hear you with your needs. Positive people. I would advise you to consider this motel if you don't need a brand-new/fancy accommodation. Thanks for a good stay.”

“PROS: I guess it was relatively well located but then again we had a car so didn't feel the distance. There is Spinnakers Landing right across the street so easy to get to food options. Our room was fine. There was an indoor pool with no COVID restrictions but didn't find myself in there with more than one other room at the same time and it's nice that they have towels provided that are specifically meant for the pool. The sauna was working so that was nice too! Free parking in front of hotel so that's was nice. CONS: The breakfast wasn't self-serve buffet style and was more a sit-down, restaurant-style table service. You could only order one item, it was the same menu with only 3 to 4 different dishes so we were eating the same thing over consecutive days, supplements cost extra and the food in general wasn't great (especially the french toast). One of the waitresses wasn't very friendly and the man at the front desk who checked us in was a bit cold but the days after, he warmed up to us so maybe just a bad day.”

“I can’t recommend Baker Shore B&B highly enough. It started before we even left home when Lynne herself called to inquire about food allergies and preferences, and to get a feel for what we hoped to do while visiting PEI. I received a couple of emails with ideas, links, and recommendations that fit our plans. Upon our arrival, we found our rooms to be very cozy and beautifully decorated, including many local touches. Lynne and Darrel were eager hosts and welcomed us as though they’ve known us for years-they made us feel very much at home. Though Lynne and Darrel are relatively new to PEI, they are very knowledgeable about what is going on, and where to go for a great dinner. We qualified for the Island Tourism card, which we found included in our welcome packages, and provided an opportunity for some great meals! Speaking of great meals, Darrel’s breakfasts were incredible! Each evening, we were given the menu for the following morning (different from the previous day), giving us choices in their offerings. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented. No-one went hungry! Throughout our stay, Lynne shared her favourite places to see iconic sights and provided directions and visitor information-we found ourselves loving those sights as well! If you are looking for a clean, friendly, quiet place to stay on the island, Baker Shore B&B is the place!”

“There are four buildings in a row on Lisa Lane. Baker Shore is a lovely little cottage right on Dunk River. There are some local dogs that are friendly but free roaming. Not a pure sand beach (some rocks, lots of shells) but pleasant with water shoes. You can walk forever in both directions along the little bay watching the hermit crab wars. Lots of shore birds, terns and gulls. Watch osprey fish waterside, harriers hunt in the fields behind and every once in awhile a merlin will go after the sandpipers. The cottage is remarkably bright and airy, always a beautiful breeze off the water so that you don't overheat. If you're usually cold you will want a sweater and some wool socks. The deck has a glorious, complete view of the shoreline. Kitchen is well outfitted, furniture older but comfortable. Everything you need to relax.”
