“I had a wonderful time stopping in here. I noticed the sign when I was dropping a friend to the Ferry, and it was so easy to stop in on my way back. There is a little gift shop, absolutely filled with local goods. I saw so many locals artisans who's work I love- And a ton that were new to me. They're doing a wonderful job of curating local works here. The owner of the spot is doing something unique- making jewelry from horse hair, in a memorial sort of way. You'll see her set up for jewelry design, and what I believe to be a large loom! When I was there, future classes were mentioned and this is definitely something I'll keep in mind in the future and keep an eye out for.”

“We stopped for a late lunch on a Thursday in August. Service was friendly and fast, prices were reasonable, and that was quite possibly the best seafood chowder we've tried in the maritime provinces. It was fresh, flavorful, and full of seafood without too much potato as filler. We would have bought a second bowl, but we filled up on the lobster poutine -- which was a new treat for us, and now we might never be able to go back to traditional versions. It was that good!”
