“I played this course during the third week of July. (Rivière du Loup is my layover on my way to PEI.) The course features some majestic views from commanding tee blocks, dramatic elevation changes, and large greens. On the day we played, we received a warm welcome from course staff. Conditions were very dry providing for extra roll on most shots. The greens were well watered but a little on the slow side, (perhaps they were not being cut for speed due to the dry conditions). I will definitely find time to play this course again.”

“Built in 1859, the church adopts a rectangular plan and its arched openings as well as its cornice returns take up the neoclassical forms in vogue at the time. In 1889, its bell tower was accompanied by a chime of three bells made by the Maison Havard de Villedieu in France. A niche in the front houses the White Virgin, a wooden Madonna covered in lead. Its cemetery, surrounded between the church and the shore of the St. Lawrence, is one of the most beautiful in the region.”

“Very impressive salt water community open pool in 25m length with a great view to the river/ocean. Changing room was clean. The staff were very friendly and tried to speak English with us. I seriously enjoyed my morning swim there! CAD$6 for the entry.”
