“Very tasty food and kids enjoyed. We stayed in a Chalet in the forests and went there for dinner. It was the only restaurant open in the village when we arrived and we found a gem. 100% satisfied! Great seafood. We went back to have lunch the next day, we enjoyed the house menus and all were great! Also the right portion served.”

“Not the best but not the worst. Rooms are clean but small, service is great and the view is spectacular! Hot water runs in the toilets so leave the seat up or the condensation will give you a big wet surprise. The mattress we had was VERY firm, almost better to have slept on the floor. We had asked for a cottage with a view but we booked last minute and got a semi detached cottage across the street from the cottages with a view. Restaurant closes at 8pm so get in early as the is literally no other place to go eat after 9pm in the whole town!”

“This is a must visit. My husband and I came here for dinner with our 6-year old son. Genevieve, our server, was so kind and generous. She made my 6-year old feel so special. And the food was wonderful. My son theoughoughly enjoyed the tourtiere and my husband said the cassoulet was one of the best meals he's had. As a vegan, I appreciated the effort and love that was taken to make the ratouille. Can't wait to stay here in the future. Great food and ambience.”

“The campground was very nice. Toilets and shower room were clean and well stocked with toilet paper. You had to pay to use the shower but $1 got you 6 minutes of hot water and good pressure. Plenty of time for a shower. The view of the St Lawrence was spectacular!! Hookups are both 30 amp and 15 amp so be sure to pick the right spot. Very quiet. Roads are narrow so tight turns. A big rig may not work here.”

“Absolutely the best bed-and-breakfast I have ever been to! The owners are extremely warm friendly and helpful. The rooms are quaint cozy and the house is extremely quiet. We spent a wonderful night there. The prices are extremely affordable and the breakfasts are fantastic, you definitely will not be disappointed by the choice and quantity of food. he must stay if you are in the Bay Saint Catherine area.”

“Absolutly delightful hosts of a clean home. Delicious homemade bread and jam for breakfast and plenty of coffee. I love the comfy sitting area with a view! Take advantage of the fridge they provide for their guests to bring their fixings for dinner as there's no place to get dinner in the evening. The only other thought is I *think* all 4 bedrooms upstairs share the bathroom.”

“We stayed here 1 night on the labor day weekend 2020. Hotel doesn't look fancy from the outside. The rooms are all recently nicely renovated and clean. The beds are comfortable. Has a small fridge also. I recommend and would stay again. Front desk person can speak English reasonably well.”

Évidement si vous êtes le genre hôtel cet endroit n’est pas pour vous ! 😉De toute façon le but est de visiter cette magnifique région non ?! Pas de rester enfermé à écouter le plancher qui craque ! 😝plein de beaux sites à proximité : jardins des lilas ( allez sonner les cloches d’église ou pic-niquer avec vue incroyable sur le fleuve !). Quai de cap à l’aigle ( vue aussi superbe , possible d’y voir des baleines 🐋 à bonne heure pendant la saison et accès à la plage juste avant le stationnement en bas ( à votre gauche quand vous descendez la côte , chute superbe prenez des photos !). Chutes Fraser, casino, randonnée 🥾 hautes gorges bref plein de belles possibilités à peu de temps !!!”

“My stay at 'Pour un instant' was a real delight. It's the perfect location to enjoy peace and quiet, sweeping panoramas of the St-Laurent and access to some of the best mountains in Quebec (grands jardins, hautes gorges de la rivière malbaie and tadoussac are all accessible from the inn)! Add to that the fact that you're staying in a real ancestral home with beautifully preserved architectural details AND all the modern comforts you could desire (and that bed was SO comfortable). The breakfast was incredible and there are gluten-free options! Our host took the time to tell me about how she cleans her equipment for gluten-free guests and answered all of my questions about cross-contamination. And finally... the hot tub with a view on the river was the perfect way to end a long day of hiking!”
