“Magnificent house on the river, quiet, super clean and comfortable. Everything is beautiful there! Spa, pool table, table football, air hockey: what to take care of if it rains! The only downside: there is only one fridge, when you're in a group, it's very difficult to manage.”

“The owners of this hostel are very friendly, patient, and speak enough English to be able to communicate with guests who only know a little bit of French. The beds are very comfortable and everything is very clean. Most non-essential items like a microwave or fridge are found in the common room and are shared between all guests. The rooms do not have an ac but contain an electric fan and the windows can be left open over night without letting in a lot of noise from outside. The only negative aspect are the squeaking beds and the floor that creaks with every step. It is still quiet enough to sleep at night.”

“Great place to stay in Charlevoix if you are looking for a cheap room... our room was facing St-Lawrence river and it was quite nice! The room was super clean as well. Therefore, our room that we booked was quite small and I did add the breakfast for me and my girlfriend for both night when I booked... somehow, our breakfast was not included during our stay... Dont pay for your breakfast as "options" when booking for your stay. Instead, add it up when you are there to avoid any surprises.”

“Incredibly good food. The beef burger was made with local beef. My husband never tasted any burger as good as this one. My veal burger was divine again local meat. The bread was locally made also. We had a wonderful service and it was not expensive compare to all of the other restos in the area. We looked for a resto for 45 minutes and nothing was available. As we walked in to this Auberge, they welcomed us in with a smile and we felt right at home. Very cozy place. I recommend 100%”

“This must be the place you’re looking for. Incredible wine list (with lots of natural wine options), incredible food and really nice ambience. We had the opportunity to chat with the owner’s daughter who was super delightful and recommended the perfect wine for us. When we come back to visit we will definitely be eating here again. In an area with relatively mediocre restaurants this is an absolute stand out and not to be missed!”

“This is probably one of the best restaurants that I have visited in years. Everything was on point, from the taste, presentation, atmosphere and service. Reservations are recommended, as a sit down can easily run 2+ hrs. Parking is a bit tricky, but the hostess was able to tell me where I can easily park (1-2 min walk). I’ll definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant!”

“Convenient hotel with clean spacious rooms with a few restaurants within a short walk. Very friendly staff as well. Great price for the area too. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is the walls are a bit thin and I could here the people in the room next door. No big deal but it might be to some. My room had a cute balcony that unfortunately I couldn’t use for the weather didn’t cooperate. I’d gladly stay here again.”

“Simple but comfortable motel in an excellent location in La Malbaie. Rooms were very good. The main drawback is there is no elevator and it you are on the second floor it is a bit difficult to get stuff up the stairs. Breakfast and lunch restaurant under same name and ownership on the property. Mattresses are very hard - fine for me as I prefer this but might be uncomfortable for some.”
