“This is a hidden gem! You get to see how people made flour with a mill back in the day of the "seigneurie", and you can even buy freshly-made bread and sandwiches with the very flour they produce! You can also visit the manor of the Lord who owned the land back in the 1850's. The people are friendly and are very knowledgeable in the history of the place and in the methods used back in the day. They are also well-organized in how to keep with social-distancing during the pandemic.”

Address: 55 Chemin des Pionniers E, L'Islet, QC G0R 2B0, Canada
“Amazing museum with a cute gift shop; worth the admission fees. They are also doing a wonderful job sanitizing during COVID-19; feel very safe in here. Many boats, videos, slides, and we can visit the coast guard icebreaker in person (the hydrofoil is closed, but there’s a wonderful video presentation of it in a room with AC). The museum is one of the highlights of our vacation!”
