The curator keeps more than a 1000 skeletons there and know the history of them all. Well trained guide can keep you entertained for hours. You decide when to stop. “I liked my visit”
Address: 300 Rue Dubuc, Chicoutimi, QC G7J 4M1, Canada
“La Pulperie de Chicoutimi is a gem in Canada/Quebec's history. What an amazing story of ingenuity, brutally hard work, risk (physically and financially), justice/injustice (on the part of the efforts of the Catholic Church on behalf of the labor force), technology and "development"! This is a story which should be taught in the public schools of Canada. There is so much to learn here! I would strongly encourage that the indigenous story of short lived effort be included since I felt it was given superficial attention.”
