“When the Mini dealership couldn't properly diagnose odd idling / check engine light (after bringing it in 3 times in 1 week); we needed to find another garage quickly. I'm so glad we discovered Mécanique Expert. Steve immediately found an exhaust leak that was interfering with a proper diagnostic. Once that was fixed, he was able to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem. (To give you an idea, Mini told us it could either be this OR that - essentially saying, fix one thing for 700$ and we'll see if it was even broken). We were also made aware of two more issues that would have left us stranded in the near future. Everything was explained in detail and they kept the old pieces to show us just how worn they were. Par contre, il a percé deux trous inutilement (un total de 6 trous dans les marche pieds) et a placé des morceaux de ruban électrique pour les cacher. “I was traveling across Canada in my brand new to me, used Coach (2006 Newmarket Dutch Star). I was having trouble with my toad’s lights and my fridge. I pulled into a WalMart in Thunderbay. There were 3 coaches there, all with Quebec plates. I explained to them, Montreal was going to be a stop for a couple of days and asked if they knew of a good place to go for service. Without delay, they recommended Martin of VR Rive Sud and gave me the phone number. I never called. Just dropped in, hoping they could fit me in (end of the day on a Thursday late June) and to my surprise...they did. It wasn’t easy. The shop was very busy, but they fit me in and fixed me up, then sent me on my way. A great, friendly staff. Quick diagnostics, reasonable pricing and a great vibe. Martin and Karen have built a strong team and even though, being from BC and will likely never see them again, I would absolutely recommend them for ANY RV repair needs. Fluent in English too!!!”
