Great experience, super cleannn
MY SECOND HOME 🤍 I've been going here since April 2019 and I'm still in LOVE with the studio. The instructors and staff are amazing! If you're ready for a challenge and not afraid to sweat, this place is for you!
I have a love/hate relationship with SpinCo Montreal - it’s mostly love but there’s some big room for improvement. The classes are really energizing and the instructors bring a lot of personality and fun to the mix. The facility is beautiful, super clean, and the front desk staff are always amazing. It’s probably the best you’ll get in Montreal and the new Stages SC2 bikes are a dream to ride.
A big issue is facility maintenance - I spin with different studios across the country pretty regularly and the facility is often in a state of disrepair vs. others. Broken air conditioning, loose handlebars that fall during class, and pedal clips that are worn are common issues. It’s getting to the point where it’s dangerous - the vibe of the studio is cool but it’s not worth a broken ankle.
Additionally, the music gets repetitive as I believe SpinCo has a list of “approved songs” instructors can use. Most instructors play the same heavy techno tracks so you get a lot of repetition. If you go frequently like I do, you’ll get bored fast.
