“Stayed there for a whole week at Chalet l'étincelle and had the best time. Our cottage had everything we needed and more! We also got married at their Chapel on August 24th and had our ceremony in their reception hall. It was magical. Our wedding planner, Claudia Plamondon was amazing, caring, thoughtfull and attentionate. We give it a solid 5 stars!”

“We rented a CanAm Maverick from Stadacona last month and went on a day long adventure over the river and through the woods. Amazing that there's anywhere where you could rent such a cool ride for such a low price. The lady we dealt with was super friendly and organized; especially considering they are primarily French speaking and I know very little of the language. Her English was good enough to get us a reservation, a day of driving and back to their shop. They have a trail that extends for many kilometers from their shop near St. Raymond south to Portneuf. The map provided could be better but getting slightly lost a few times made it more of an adventure. The trail is marked better returning than going but we figured it all out and had a nice lunch in Portneuf. It took about half the time getting back as by afternoon, we had our act together navigation wise. Be warned, the Maverick is pretty loud and I was fortunate enough to have two sets of earplugs in my backpack. You should strongly consider hearing protection. Also, when you stop, you will find that there are deerflies in the woods this time of year but curiously, we were never bitten/stung. That doesn't necessarily mean that you won't get nailed so... All in all, a great day of fun and a break from Quebec City's tourist hordes.”

“It is a wonderful occasion to do a great family outdoor activity. The couple owning the place is very nice and they offer you the opportunity to switch to another day if it is rainy. It costs $ 29.95 per person and it is free for children 12 years old and younger. As for the rafting itself, it is a very safe activity. It takes about 3 hours to get down the river. This is the second year we go there and the water level was pretty low, but we had fun nevertheless. The rock formations are astonishing and there is a place where you can step out of boat and spend some time. We even found fossils and wild berries. I highly recommend this.”
