“I loved this beautifully located outfitter! We had a cabin by the beach. A beautiful lake and beach! Silence at its best as there is little in town. The facilities are updated and very well maintained and this makes it a peaceful and rejuvenating place. Nature is flamboyant there. The lakes are easily accessible. Thank you for your welcome!”

“This place is a paradise of small game hunting. Friendly staff of south entrance gave our team huge motivation. Appreciate them and also management of SEPAQ. Real 4 wheel drive vehicle is a necessity for hunting season.”

“Nice campground, family friendly. High volume loudspeaker announcement in french only at one point in the evening was a bit jarring... Showers not noted on map provided. Sign at entrance could be more obvious.”

“A redesigned peat bog to optimize the ecological benefits naturally present in such an ecosystem. Developed trails and a belvedere are accessible to observe the immense diversity of flora and fauna. Pay attention and keep your eyes peeled, you won't be disappointed!”

“Since my mother in law is one of the campers there, I found the place is nice and cozy. The bathroom public is good. They always clean it like 3 times a day. The beach also nice and calm. But unfortunately I dont like getting tan so much so I prefer to go to the beach after dark. Also really best place for me to have a stargazing date with my husband”

“I cannot comment about the campground since we visited it to hike but i can say that our 2 hours hike following the river was wonderful. It can be challenging at times since some of the trails are extremely steep but definitely worth it as the waterfall and view from the many belvederes are breathtaking.”

“I would give 3.5 stars if that were possible. This place has its positives and negatives. The positives are that the water is nice, it's a nice sandy beach and the have some shelters set up so you can get some shade. Negatives are that it's very crowded, there are a lot of people smoking on the beach and you have to pay a fee to access the beach. The national park across the lake had much nicer beaches if you're going to pay.”

“Good experience in general (good price and distance from St-Félicien). On the camping side: Please note that the sites are very small and very close together, these are not the "usual" distances. No round of fire in all the grounds. There is no plan available so call to see which lot would be best for you. In our scenario we were 2 tents in the field cluster 34-35-36-37. Would have been perfect for a group of 4 tents. On the other hand, the experience would have been a lot less pleasant if foreigners had been in the 37 and 35. A single toilet block for the entire campsite, therefore 4 showers, 2 urinals and 3 toilets. The hot water in the toilet block is really hot so that's good (while it's often lukewarm at other campsites). Camping firewood available on site (note that there is no small roadside vendor in the last kilometres!). Very peaceful place. Hiking: good length of trail (it follows snowshoe trails). Mountain bike: reasonable rental price for a block of 3 hours (more than enough time for an introduction to this sport). The bikes are going well and the trails are doing well. Flat on the indications in the paths which are not always clear. I highly recommend Ongago which contains the trail map.”

“I’ve visited there when it’s summer and walked to the top of the mountain, if you like walking or running, better to wear long trouser and something to protect the mosquitoes , bugs and flies, It’s nice for mountain cycling , but if you wants to enjoy the view, By the way I liked this place. The lady at the ticket counter is friendly.”
