“The sun set views were simply amaizing, arrive early to grab a picnic table as it was busy when we visited there for a long weekend. The views were heavenly and it was good to know the history.”

“Really a very nice place with very friendly and helpful hosts. Places to discover with tranquility and privacy for those looking for rest but also with the possibility of outdoor activities for the more athletic. The accommodation is fully equipped down to the smallest detail. I recommend this place without hesitation! ❤️☺️”

“It's rare for well-maintained campsites like this! In addition the site is in the heart of a magnificent village and a breathtaking view of the cove!”

“Great selections of beers. Good food options with beer pairing recommendations. Friendly staff and cozy vibe. There is also a playground for the kids. Very convenient if you are camping next door. There’s a line up during the weekend (and reservations are not possible) and/or when they have a musical band. Unfortunately, my deer burger was slightly over cooked. Fish and chips were a little under seasoned.”

“It was our first time trying e-bikes and we LOVED it so much that we're thinking of buying our own 🤩 Velo Fjord have fantastic e-bikes that are sturdy, easy to maneuver and epic fun to ride. We felt safe and had a blast 😍 And the customer service is INCOMPARABLE. They went out of their way to make sure we could go for a ride on our last day of our trip. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Wonderful glamping trip - easiest camping for my friends and I. A communal building with toaster, stove, kettle and pots. Try to get a waterfront site to soak up the beautiful view of the fjord and mountain. It’s worth the extra cost. The washrooms are fairly clean but this needs improvement especially the showers/bathroom. The location is perfect to access kayaking tour and to access trails. It is however about a 15 minute drive to Saguenay park visitors/information centre. There’s a cafe, ice cream shop, grocery and a couple of restos in the area.”

“1000% recommended! The staff is so friendly, kind, and accommodating. They will let you use wet suit, and wet shoes, and they do a great instruction on how to navigate with the sea kayak. I highly recommend going in the morning trip if you can as the wind is less, the water is calmer, less waves, and the sun should be less intense. Our guide Tomas was exceptional, so funny and professional ❤️ I would definitely return sometime soon and do a longer all day trip. I just did the 3 hours trip. You will be hungry later, so I recommend to go right to the crepes place in front of fjord en kayak OR for dinner 100% treat yourself to the best home cooked dinner in town at Auberge Fjordelaise- this is also an outstanding place to sleep if staying in town. After kayaking or before there are many great hikes as well that the staff at Fjord en Kayak will be happy to tell you about. This is a solid company and you can’t go wrong doing any adventures with them.”

“Had a lovely time shopping in here. Always love this type of boutique that has so many cute stuff and nice shopping environment: clothing, handbags, jewelries, hats, a little bit of everything and support local artisans. We stayed around there in mid August, and the store opens from 9am to 7pm. Very friendly service.”

“The Food: It was mostly good! Sometimes it was cold, it seems like the kitchen was having issues keeping up with demand ( the place was full!). Still, the quality of the main dishes was delicious. The onion soup, soup du jour, duck confit, and salmon were all good. Portions of the salad were too small, and the dessert du jour wasn't great. There was a very long wait time between the dishes, but they were aware and were apologetic. Again, the restaurant was full and it's only been open two months. They will get better. The service was nice.. They should get some lanterns for the outside area for the evening, as it gets very dark, and some pillows for the metal chairs. The inside is a little stuffy, better ventilation would be nice. Overall a decent dining experience”

“Beautiful spot with nature, arts and shops. We love this section of the national park, it’s as beautiful and not as difficult in hiking. The covered bridge has many artistic paintings in it. Love the sculptures outside the church and in front of the covered bridge, same talented artist! The boulangerie has the best bread and coffee! A nice artisans boutique, and a kayak company. Auberge de Fjordelaise has the best table d’hôte dinner with stunning outdoor views!”

“Very nice and warm owner!!! We were a group of 8 visiting the cover bridge in the village on September 4th, and passed by this cosy and clean Auberge. Due to the unexpected situation, we asked help from the owner who was very friendly to offer his hand to us. We will continue to pass on this love from l’Anse-Saint-Jean!, and be proud of this townspeople! Thank you very much!!!”
