Very nice beach with interesting sand,
Well maintained, can be pretty crowded. Expect some people with paddleboards and canoes in the swimming area, they'll blame you if they hit you on the head.
If you're looking to escape the world's idiots, this may not be the place, but if you're looking for a nice place to be, then for sure this place is very nice.
Loved my camping experience! The campsites are clean equipped with a fire pit and picnic table. If you can get one near the beach, you'll fall asleep to the sounds of the waves. We also rented bikes to get to our campsite and took the opportunity to ride around the park, a must-do!
Beautiful natural beach, we went after 5 pm we didn't pay for it. The sand of the beach are black and red sand. Amazing place for sunset.
SÉPAQ National Park of Pointe-Taillon is really nice. You have a wide range of camping sites along the road on the border of Lac Saint-Jean. You can move around with a bike to discover all the way to the ferry at the end. That allows tranquility since there's no car circulation. Also, at the entrance, they have bike rental, free hot shower and you can buy wood for you fire pit. For those who are doing the Véloroute des Bleuets, they have a small camp site made for people that have no reservations and need to spend the night there for about 25$, good idea!
We passed through the park as part of the cycling around the lake. Cyclists are welcome to camp with minimal fees. The beach is very calm, not crowded and very clean. The gravel trail around the park is very nice and perfect for gravel biking. There is a ferry at the end that takes you to other side without having to do the big loop. There’s a shed there to protect you against the mosquitoes. We loved our stay here. Thanks to all the staff for such a good job at keeping the place in order.
