“A great experience, the instructor quickly put us at ease despite our fear of the river. Ideal for beginners who would like to learn more about whitewater kayaking in a safe way! I highly recommend it !”

“We had a lovely time here. The price is cheaper on the site than other neighborhood ice cream or souvenirs stores. We enjoyed the chocolate marshmallows and their authentic blueberry wrapped in chocolate. It’s a hot day, and they have blueberry tea, as well as blueberry juice. The chocolate soaps also looked interesting! Friendly and helpful service!”

“This is an amazing campground lots of VR and the views aren’t the best in the vaping spot that have services, but if you get the no service spots those are by the river and you’ll have an epic time there. You can hear the river all night and it’s extremely pleasant. The sun sets right on the other side of the falls so your in for an epic view at sunset. Prices are affordable and very reasonable. Very clean campground with washrooms, toilets and laundromat.”

“Really nice beach, with 2 campings attached to it. However the lifeguards have about a 1 by 1 meters area to cover, which makes the place less safe”

“Such an amazing place! The train ride is a unique experience, absolutely a must. There are many animals to see in all other areas. The zoo is also an opportunity to see the striking and severe boreal forest up close. I also really appreciated the kids area with the water games and mini farm - it's a great place to have a picnic or an ice cream. There are also picnic tables (some with roofs) throughout the zoo, so it's easy to take a break. Overall, a must see in Lac Saint-Jean area.”

“+: tickets are available for 48 hours +: Marco's the best guide ever, we learned so much Very interesting museum to discover the Ilnu culture. The museum is very interactive and playful, even the kids would love it. There's also an outside exhibition, which is guided. Not that expensive for the experience.”

“Very nice cycling trail around the lake. There is no clear (clockwise or counterclockwise) better direction to do this. We did counter and it worked for the best, tailwind both ways! Thanks to the staff the trail is quite nicely marked all along. There are bike stations in case of problems or general questions. Loved it and may be back when blueberries are out ;) there are parts where you’ll share the road with cars but overall the dedicated bike lanes outweighs the other.”

“Very nice beach with interesting sand, Well maintained, can be pretty crowded. Expect some people with paddleboards and canoes in the swimming area, they'll blame you if they hit you on the head. If you're looking to escape the world's idiots, this may not be the place, but if you're looking for a nice place to be, then for sure this place is very nice.”

“An amazing, wonderful experience. Michel is a wonderful host. Responsive, so caring and helpful. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to really be in the middle of nature, seeing flying squirrels, moose. You feel like you are just living in the forest, but you are in a comfortable, beautiful place.”

“Great view from our 2nd floor balcony of the lake! Room window was large for the view too. Good size room; not new or modern but still quite good. We stayed here while cycling the Véloroute. They had a storage room for our bikes. Important to note that the front desk is only open from 8am - 7pm (not great when we couldn't get the TV working after dinner but reception was closed). They have a bar on site; not a restaurant. Within walking distance of local restaurants.”
