“Awesome youth group good mix of fun and spiritual activities. Always hoping for new members but does very little outreach. Lots of whole families and elderly people go to this church. Youth pastor Kenton is incredibly friendly. Free coffee with donations encouraged. You may feel a little lost if you don’t know the regular attendees but everyone is friendly. Very strong prayer community. Does not does not do church lunch. Casual dress, come as you are. Always a blessing to experience the newly implemented youth led services!”

“Well more than the church I’m reviewing the hall they have, which probably can be rented for wedding receptions, birthday parties and other activities. It is a great space with all the facilities necessary to have a great event. Good acoustic, well cared, enough bathrooms and rooms to keep the food or the music. Highly recommended! The church is also very beautiful btw, with an amazing natural lightning.”

“I've been attending regularly since I came to Saskatoon in 1997. A warm, open congregation with a mixture of ethnic groups and a relaxed service. The pastor is gracious and caring--goodnews-focused. Children go to Sunday School during part of church but return for communion. Some very creative Sunday School and Vacation Bible School projects. I've found it easy to connect and make friends. Lots of care given and received when people are sick or in need.”

“I joined the parish since my first week in Canada. It is one of the best community building parishes in the city. Newcomers are warmly welcome and encouraged to participate in one of the many Ministries in the Parish. That participation helps to build a tight community.”

“This has been one of the most welcoming services I've been to where every week I went I found I was given so much life knowledge along with a lot of good conversations about how many cultures celebrate, grieve, and work together, and acknowledge each other. They are also very active on social issues that exist in everyday life, and there are always opportunities to volunteer and get involved. My past relationship with religious activity was often negative as i approached my beliefs from a freethinker/atheist perspective. I'm still basically Athiest, but I have learned to be a lot more accepting, as many people have different types of definitions of "God" and that's ok. The unitarians are very good at these conversations about belief. I'd recommend checking them out, even if you have never really gone to a sunday service. One thing I do miss currently due to this pandemic is the in person group singing, Online services are just not quite the same as the energy of people live, but that's something to look forward to later. Be Safe, take care.”
