It's the best place to visit and hike the trails. Very peaceful.
Really incredible views everywhere, with a vast network of trails that cover all sorts of terrain. There is ample parking at the trail heads, and everything seemed to be very well-maintained. We summited three of the NEK Challenge peaks, and will be back next year to get the rest of them in this park.
Our family stopped here one day in late September. It was a breezy day and the water was rough. The leaves were changing so the view was beautiful. I did a quick hike around on some of the trails. They seemed well marked and we'll worn. It looks like this place gets a lot of visitors so I don't think I would come here in peak summer season. There were smokers and drinkers down by the water and the smoke traveled up the trail and was a bit annoying. Otherwise the place looks great.
Natural beauty. Great hiking trails, very well kept. Beautiful Willoughby lake and various nearby ponds.
It wasn't obvious where to go and where to park - the signage could be improved. Do your research before you go to make it easier. Beautiful forest.
