(January 8, 2019, 5:03 pm)Awesome hike. We were heading for Turtleback peak but we took a wrong turn and ended up going to Ship Peak. It can still take you to Turtleback but roundabout way. We were very happy to have taken the detour because the views are breathtaking. It gets a bit steep at times, but it is so worth it. LOVE IT.

(September 23, 2018, 3:06 am)Great parking spot and easy access to the southern trailhead. There's also a port-o-let if you need relief. It took me 30 min to get to the top of Ship Peak and revealed beautiful views of West Sound, Shaw, San Juan and other outer islands.
