Wharfside Bed (Boat) & Breakfast

Wanting to get away for the summer, my girlfriend and I looked into a number of possible bed & breakfasts in the Friday Harbor area. Once we stumbled upon Wharfside B&B, we were drawn to the unique nature of its location and offering. Upon meeting with the lady who runs the B&B, we were introduced to the fascinating history behind the yacht and the inspiration for her being built.

Breakfast was served promptly at 9 AM, with an array of pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruits with granola and yogurt (your menu items may vary) with delicious coffee.

My overall experience was great, but it would have been nice if Laura mentioned that the water is turned off at midnight, so we weren't shocked when we tried to flush the toilet with nothing happening. Alternatively, we could have taken a shower and brushed our teeth ahead of the shutoff.

If you are looking for a place that is different from the rest of the places out there, please visit them as this will be an experience you won't forget.

We came in late Friday night and Laura was very accommodating and willing to meet us when our ferry came in. She was standing and ready as soon as we arrived. She greeted us and gave us a little history on the boat, checked us in and let us settle. We felt very at home.! The breakfast was absolutely amazing and we were full until dinner! Stay here and you won't regret it.

This is a wonderful B&B! The innkeepers had terrific suggestions for activities to do on the island. Breakfast on the deck was particularly memorable. Staying on this boat really made our visit to the San Juan Islands feel special. - Michele and Paul (Brooklyn, NY)

Very nice views. We could see sea planes and taking off landing while having breakfast. Our breakfast was custom-made by the owner : coffee and delicious french toasts. We had a private bedroom, living room, and a bathroom. We also had access to a shared kitchen. The bathroom was a bit small. The owners were nice people.
