Our family of five enjoyed the food very much. My mom had the black cod which I tasted and was delicious. The rest of us all had steaks and were also wonderful. The attention we had was absolutely great. Our waitress was new of two weeks but was great and very attentive but not overbearing. It was a real treat for our three parents. Thank you so much. Until next time!
Always love going to this place! It’s definitely not cheap, but for a fancy occasion it hard to beat. I go twice a year and have never had a bad experience. It is a really good spot to watch the sunset.
Celebrating birthdays at The Oyster Bar has been a family tradition for years. We love going when lobster is in season. There's always something delicious on the menu and the bread baskets are fabulous. The view is the best out of any restaurant currently in the area. We love sitting in a booth. Be sure to order some oysters, they're the best. We've never eaten anything there we didn't love. Great wine list too.
Expensive but a quality experience. Meal and it's presentation was excellent. Fries and fried oysters were excellent without the common grease of most restaurants. The decor was pleasant with unusual kerosene candles and a fresh flowers. It is located high above an oyster "farm" along a screening portion of the historic Chuckanut Highway. We had a most enjoyable dining experience.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with a drive from Seattle to the Chuckanut Drive and the Oyster Bar for a celebratory lunch. It was absolutely delightful. The food was excellent, the service was the best and the view is outstanding. We started with a dozen and a half of the most delicious, freshest raw oysters you can imagine. No sauce or intrusion of any other dressing other than a squeeze of lemon was necessary to bring out the wonderful briny flavor and plump meat of the oyster. I had fresh halibut beautifully prepared with a seaweed truffle covering that enhanced the fresh fish. It was served with wonderful potatoes and incredibly fresh carrots and string beans. My wife had a king crab salad roll that was also top notch. We passed on the desserts. It was as good as it gets as a way to celebrate our anniversary. You don't an occasion to enjoy the total experience at the Oyster Bar.
