“This was a coolest Starbucks I've ever been to. For a small town like Blaine, I don't know how they got this one! The lines were huge is there was a Fourth of July parade going on, but service was quick and friendly. Lots of outdoor seating in the tower is awesome.”

“This is my favorite coffee stand, hands down! They all know my order and I'm thinking they train new employees to learn that also because even the new hires know my drinks. Also, their coffee is great and they always seem to know when shots aren't turning out right. “Local excellence! No trip to Birch Bay is complete without a trip to this local gem candy maker. For many years, they've been producing quality truffles, fudge, caramels, peanut butter treats – and Easter bunnies. Oh, the bunnies! They're all made in-house, primarily using antique chocolate molds, and are all masterfully done, in dark, milk and white chocolate. Be prepared for long lines around Easter and in the summer tourist season, though. Don't worry: it's worth it!”

“I have given this establishment 3 stars in hopes that they usually do better. My husband and I drove through town looking for a quick bite to eat (something to go) on a cold, rainy Saturday afternoon. When we arrived the employee working informed us that her boss was gone and that she was out of many food materials to make the items on the menu. She went on to say that it would be easier for her to list what she "could" make. I quickly asked if she had any soup. Luckily, that was something she had (chili and chowder). It took her a couple of minutes to find the right containers and then the lids to fit them. We were getting a little frustrated at the amount of time this took. However, the soup was good. The coffee stand inside was closed down and that was also a little disappointing. Having said that, the employee was very polite and the soup was good. As this was our first time going there, I am not sure if this is a common occurrence that they are out of things on the menu or that the coffee shop was closed when the restaurant is open. Along with indoor seating, they do have a nice covered area outside to sit and enjoy the weather, rain or shine!”

“This marina is my favorit, It is very clean, well maintained, and the office staff very friendly and helpful. There is lots of parking for your vehicle and conveniently located parking to unload. The store, gift shop, and snack bar is great Gas and pump out is available. Bikes are available to use as well as an extra supply of life jackets to borrow. Spa and hotel within walking distance. Nice trails to walk ocean front.”
