Saltwater Café

Address: 1345 Gulf Rd, Point Roberts, WA 98281, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“It is a quaint place. The name suits the building. I found the place to be overly expensive and the service isn't really that great. The food is good but I paid about $60 U.S. for 1 Eggs Benny, one order of a version of French Toast, an order of something that was similar to a salad and of course two coffees which you have to pay for each time. You don't get a great View. It seems a very depressed area like abandoned and forgotten comes to mind. Other than that it's great”

Kiniski's Reef Tavern

Address: 1334 Gulf Rd, Point Roberts, WA 98281, USA

Restaurant

“The waiter was friendly and helpful, the drinks were cold. My burger cost 13 dollars which, unfortunately, has become the new norm for pub food. In spite of the price, I was happy that I ordered it. This was seriously the best burger I've had in a long time! The fries were also great. Even though I didn't have a beer, the good variety of brew was tempting. The next time I'm near Point Roberts, I'll make it a point to come back.”

Bald Eagle Golf Club at Point Roberts

Address: 1350 Pelican Pl, Point Roberts, WA 98281, USA

Restaurant

“Our first trip to the course since new ownership took over. The clubhouse staff is very friendly. The course is in fine shape after years of neglect. Some areas of the fairways are still a bit soft with the new sod, so short wedge shots are a challenge. The bunker sand is nice but a bit too deep, especially the fairway bunkers, which I imagine will settle after some time. The greens are not far off the quality of the course's heyday. The green fees are great right now - $48 CAD on weekends for players over 60. But the big question will be what they'll be next spring and summer. The border is a detriment for many and with new courses in the area, fees that are over $60CAD will stop a lot of players from coming. Hope they keep it affordable for all.”
