“Absolutely a wonderful experience!! We took our son today, to help with his physical therapy ( cancer survivor), and it was just a great experience overall. The staff is so helpful and kind. They even held our keys for us so we didn’t have the fear of losing them. If you haven’t been out on a paddle board before, go to Bloedel boat rentals, they are terrific people and it’s lots of fun!”

“A cornucopia of beers and tasty pizza, what's not to like? You can get pizza by the slice for good price. Highlights are the chicken bacon ranch pizza, twisty sticks, and grinder sandwich. It's a great place to watch a game or grab a pint after work. They are open late and serve food late which makes them a refuge for many college kids on a weekend night.”

“Very friendly and exuberant staff. Nice beer selection, along with other libations. No food, but people are welcome to bring in any food they like. Small, cozy, and welcoming.”

“Chicken is good and moist. The two kabobs were filling and nicely presented. However, the rice in the rice bowl tastes like it came from a box. The veggies are heavy in carrots, light on broccoli (the good stuff in my opinion ). I tried medium spice to begin with and it had only just a little kick. I’ll try hot next time.”

“The food is so fresh, and delicious! It is great to live in a place that offers healthy food options. Locally owned, by fantastic people, they don't sacrifice the quality of the food to make more profit. That makes it my go-to when looking for lunch options that I can be sure I don't regret.”

“Fresh oysters, fresh crabs, an amazing view, and alcohol. What more could you ask for? Nothing, that's what. For sure go here and shuck a dozen oysters while watching otters play in the water. You won't regret it.”

“Such a fun place! Really delicious pizzas - high quality ingredients and fun combinations. Set in a beautiful location, you’ve gotta check it out! Looking forward to when they’ve fully built out their beer options, but the ones I’ve had have already been great.”

“We searched high and low in this town for a croissant because our daughter LOVES them. Joes across the street advertises having them but they were out (of basically everything). So we took a chance that maybe they have them here. They did, and breakfast sandwiches which were delicious!!! I’m so happy we found them! Also the coffee here is better too. Yum!”

“Beautiful drive from Seattle to this location. The oysters were really fresh and tasty - but small. Great service - I wanted the experience if shucking them myself but ended but not capable. They did it w/o charging me. Thank You!!!! I did manage to shuck one after watching them do it. Cute little lighthouse on property.”

“This is quite seriously my favorite restaurant in all of Bellingham. Every time I'm in town for work we stop at Five Columns Greek Restaurant. The food is authentic and extremely well prepared. The service is top notch. Professional and personable. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone.”

“All the other good reviews are point on. Cheap and good. Best deal is the fish taco at $2. Be prepared to wait for fish, as it is cooked to order. Chicken nachos are ready quicker.”

“Sam and Jessica the owners are two of the sweetest and hardworking restaurant people I've ever met. Their food is delicious fresh and consistent time after time. If you haven't eaten here and simply just drive by, you are missing out. I recommend the Moo shot Chicken (sp)..delicious little rolls hand made at your table. What are you waiting for? Get in the car and get there!..oh yeah, and enjoy!”

“Boomers has great burgers, delicious hard ice cream shakes & the best waffle fries! The classic 50's burger joint vibe is on point, right down to the music. It's perfect to go with family, on a casual date or just to grab a bite to eat yourself. The selection on ice cream flavors is wonderful & there's a unique "flavor of the month" that's always different.”

“This is a tough review! My food was great. I ordered PAD SEE EW with chicken. We were a table of 3, the only people in the restaurant and it took forever. I ordered 2 of the same thing to go for when we left... waitress at the end forgot, said I never told her what I wanted. Too funny, she offered to put the order in...knowing it would take to long I said no thanks. I ordered On Rice to go on the way home. ????”

“Be willing to wait for a table, but also be willing to be entertained not only by the detailed decor, full of antiques and eclectic artwork, but also by the staff. They are able to turn their constant movement and multitasking into humor and smiles. And also, the food is good. Like, really really good.”

“The three-star rating gives credit to the customer service and generous portions. Both our server and our chef (Edward) were very warm, welcoming, and friendly. But after two visits (years apart), I feel that most of what I'm paying for is the service/performance of hibachi. I have yet to be impressed by the food. I've had more flavor in my food at home following simple recipes than any of the shrimp or chicken I've ordered at the restaurant. I'd rather spend $15 less/per person and have a quality sushi dinner. Other than being invited by friends, there's been no instance where I've been pulled back to the restaurant. I can always compromise on customer service if the food is delicious. The taste hasn't motivated me to return without the invite of family or friends for a special occasion.”

“Great experience here today. We were welcomed at the door and the service was very attentive and friendly. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the food and was great at conversation. We are value people, and this is the perfect for us. We both got lots of food for a very reasonable price. It tasted great. The chips and salsa are excellent and we were happy to get it. We will be back for sure.”

“The food was good, but check your bank statement. They charged me twice, once for the cost of the meal (less than $10) and an additional $27.57. They told me it was a tip error. Somehow I don't believe that but they did refund my money.”

“Note: Google Maps lists two locations for this place (across street from each other). This location (south side) is wrong one. Good, Tasty, Healthy food, nice staff. Good seats. Nice decor. To quote from them: "We are an environmentally friendly, health-conscious kitchen, offering our guests food free of MSG, lard and other chemicals. Our fruits and veggies are bought locally, and all menu items are prepared fresh to order. Our To-Go boxes are recyclable and made of recycled materials." And I will add that I had no digestive problems with their chicken mole enchiladas, beans etc... Notable, rare for me not to be at least a little unhappy after most Mexican food. Being pretty tired I went for a virgin margarita, very tasty (NOT a nasty mix). Next time with Tequila. One note: Monday-Thursday they close at 8PM (when we went on Monday most of Lynden was closed tight at 7:30). She had to turn some folks away (as we were finishing) because the kitchen was shut down and explained to us that she used to be open later all week but it rarely worked well. I can tell she wasn't happy to have to disappoint people. ”
