“Absolutely one of the BEST dining experiences the Rockies have to offer from being greeted at the door to being thanked for coming. The pleasure was all ours. The morel gnocchi were like PILLOWS in my mouth, and unbelievable in flavour. Still thinking about them....Wine and cocktail list is very diverse and there's even a wine flight trio to try (definitely next time!) Steelhead trout was tasty and we were very surprised at the assortment and freshness of the entree vegetables. The parsnip puree with roasted cauliflower is a perfect share. The dressing on the salad will keep your fork in your hand too. Go hungry, your appetite will thank you!”

Being that we live in Saskatchewan, we needed someone that would be easy to work with through email and quick to respond since we were planning an Alberta wedding. “My heavily pregnant wife needed to use the bathroom but the gentleman working there mentioned someone had made a mess and he hadn’t cleaned it up (and wasn’t planning to). Would’ve been fair had he not been laying down behind the counter not doing anything. He could have at least let her use the staff washroom in this case. Otherwise the experiences have been good.”

“We were pretty tired after checking into the B&B and went to Sandtraps for an early dinner. We chose a table by the window as we were attracted by the beautiful view as you can see from the pics uploaded. Friendly staff knowing it's our first time visiting Banff and told us what is the best time to be out for sightseeing and of course great food.”

“Amazing food! Everything was perfectly cooked (this will sound crazy but I like my pancakes a little crispy, and it was perfectly cooked that way! Not burnt, but just enough stability and crunch! Perfection!) The fruit was very flavourful and not too cold or too warm (great for sensitive teeth) & the view was to die for! Service was good! Recommend for a very delicious breakfast!”

“This was a nice little bakery, it smells so good but unfortunately the bread and croissants we got were dry, I am sure that they would taste better if they were fresh. We got some cakes as well and were not impressed. They were making new batches of pastry when I came (the smell is what took me there)”

“What an experience! We had an exceptional time at ankor and wanted to order almost their entire menu! Everything we got looked and tasted fantastic, clearly showcasing the kitchen's care, thought, and attention to detail. For what you get, including the friendly service, the price is very fair. Their tasting menu is simply a curated selection off their regular menu. This is good but we had hoped it would be different, unique creations instead. That didn't take anything away from our visit though, just something to be aware of.”

“This beautiful gem of a coffee shop is your one stop shop for all your brunch needs! Their coffee selection is very extensive as well as their Breakfast & Lunch selections. My recommendation is to get a Caramel Hot Chocolate & a Smoked Salmon bagel sandwich! Outstanding! The owners were so welcoming, warm, & just good people who love dogs! My kind of people! The first Black Dog that started it all was named Sadie & their current black dog Shadow is carrying on the legacy! Both beautiful dogs! Sadie would be so proud! “I ordered a wedding cake from Cheryl. I communicated mostly via email long distance and Cheryl was great to work with. She listened and replied to all my requests and questions. I enquired about different options and decided to order a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing and white chocolate. I also asked for fresh flowers to be on the cake. She made the process very smooth, the cake was pretty, delicious and had all details as requested. Thank you for making our wedding day sweeter and more special with this cake. We all loved it.”
