“The experience we had with our recent car rental in Edmonton was nothing less than great. I am a driver for the Kingston Ontario Discount branch . The treatment that we received at the branch was awesome the member came to the airport to pick us up he loaded our luggage in his shuttle van when we chose our car he brought it to the front door and proceeded to move our luggage from the van to the car and always with a smile on his face. The next day i received a courtesy call from the branch to see if everything was okay. The employees at the Edmonton branch should be commended for there professorial and overall demeanor. Attendant who was in charge of checking in and handing over car was incredibly friendly and helpful with directions on how to get out and return. “Overall a really good experience with National Car Rental in Edmonton. I was travelling alone with my children and they were very helpful pulling up a vehicle for me as well as getting the car seats I rented. Since National offers the service of renting car seats (which is awesome and a huge lifesaver not having to travel with them) I feel that it would be extremely beneficial to train staff to install car seats safely into different vehicles. I have car seats of my own and know how to install them, but it was very stressful having to install them while trying to keep my two young children happy. If my husband had been with me, it would have been no problem to install them. Another suggestion would be to have the car seats installed in the vehicle before the customer arrives. Thanks again for the overall good service!”

“Quick and easy, but it was on a stat Monday. Had a premium car booked, which was a nice Chrysler 300, but it was rear wheel drive. That was fine because the weather didn't call for snow, but it would have been nice if they allowed for a change in vehicles to something else that wasn't rear wheel drive when I requested it. Everything is a upcharge with rental car companies; I get it. Even a downgrade in vehicles. Overall was decent experience, pretty par for the course.”

“Car was clean and in great shape, check in was quick. When I returned the car, I was telling the agent that I was dreading the cold 1.5 km walk to my personal car I had left at work 4 days earlier. To my surprise (and gratitude) he got me a ride with one of their shuttle drivers right to where I needed to go! That's awesome customer service, a very nice change from most places these days.
