After being on the wrong end of thousands of dollars spent on very poor quality and unprofessional service from a half-dozen alleged "hydronic heating expert" companies, we were extremely surprised and pleased to find this company.
Rex came over to our house for a consultation and immediately identified several issues with our heating system configuration and fixed 1 problem within 2 minutes of looking at our system. He took time to explain some of the nuances and "whys" of what was wrong and how to correct it. I was gob-smacked since I have spent 7 years of talking with and asking questions of all the previous heating "experts" that we've had in our home, but no one has ever pointed out so many things in such an accurate and short period of time like Rex did.
James and Paul came over to make some adjustments and James spent a lot of time troubleshooting some complications that arose.
It almost felt like a personal friend was working on my heating system because James explained things in a detailed way and it felt like he really cared a lot for the quality of his work. He even followed up with me the next day to make sure everything was working well and offered a few more tips and things to keep an eye on.
Look at how many 5 star ratings these guys have. There is a reason for that: they are extremely professional. They are easily the best hydronic heating guys in town after 7 years of searching for them.

(March 15, 2018, 3:12 am)I highly recommend reaching out to Alberta General Plumbing if you are in the market for a new furnace or water heater. They installed my new furance, Hot water on demand, humidifier, AC coils and air filter system, within a couple days of giving me a quote. Super professional, helpful and went out of their way to get the job done. Looking forward to getting our AC unit installed in the spring, and using them for future Reno projects.
(February 7, 2018, 8:28 pm)Alberta General Plumbing made replacing our leaky hot water tank a breeze! Everything was done within 48 hours of our first phone call. Craig was so friendly and personable. He did a clean and efficient job. We would definitely recommend you to our friends and family.
