“We stayed in cabin 19, a one room bungalow. It was very cozy and charming and as advertised. It was mostly clean with the exception of a few noticeable details that could use some attention in the bathroom (black mold around bathroom window panes that could easily be removed and the drywall ceiling above the shower is developing mold and could benefit from some cleaning and repainting.) Overall, we enjoyed the coziness of the cabin, the beauty of the canyon so close by. Its a quick ride into the town of Banff. It was great to have a restaurant, gift shop and coffee bar on site. Staff were helpful and friendly.”

“I rarely give five-stars but the service and the food at La Terrazza really impressed me. Our server on both nights that we dined at La Terrazza during our vacation in Banff was Ibon Quinoy. He was exceptional, which is not a small task with a family group of 9 individuals! Ibon took wonderful care of us and we really enjoyed his sense of humor. To make the experience even better the food was delectable. In fact the rosellini al funghi was the best pasta dish I have ever eaten on the North American continent. Others raved about their bison cannelloni especially, but all the dishes were scrumptious. The restaurant is rather small, so reservations are recommended. Prices were not out of line with my expectations considering the quality of the food and service in a tourist heavy location. The menu changes with the seasons.”

“We came here for brunch on a beautiful sunny day. We lucked out with seating in the patio overlooking highway 1 with a view of Banff Springs Hotel. My wife chose the Salmon Benny, which she said was cooked perfectly. I ordered the Juniper Burger with Potato Hash. The burger was delicious and plenty juicy. The flavors complimented each other. My wife took a bite and agreed with my enthusiasm. The potato hash was perfectly cooked and reminded me of roast potatoes. They somehow got the crispy and tenderness combination down perfectly. I ate my hash and everyone else's. My kids had the Kids Eggs Your Way and the Kids French Toast. The eggs were ordered scrambled and came out perfectly. I normally don't eat eggs and found myself enjoying the couple bites I took. My wife mentioned that the French Toast was very good. Overall, our family really enjoyed our meals here and wished we came sooner!”

“My daughter is a picky eater and she prefers traditional Asian cuisine. I didn’t think it was possible to find a traditional Cantonese restaurant in Banff… and there it is! Flavors are sooooo good! A bit pricey but it was worth every penny. We finished everything. My daughter ate sooooo well. Service was a 10 and it was nice to see that the staffs spoke Cantonese. There is a large parking and nice outdoor patio seating area. I highly recommend!”

“Came in for a quick bite, the restaurant staff were wonderful, the smell was amazing, decor beautiful, warm and inviting. We ordered the potatoes, they were tasteless; the cauliflower, there wasn't enough sauce and to eat the walnuts and the dates with it was very difficult because the florets were so large; and the mushroom caps, they were delicious and my personal favorite but we're literally sitting in a pool of oil. My drink was delicious so I thoroughly enjoyed that. Food wise I give it a 2 but the staff and decor give it an extra star.”

“Was a quick supper on the last day in Banff. Tried their Barbecue Pork Ramen but it was slightly salty. Their Rice Balls (onigiri) were hot!!! Better to be cold in my opinion. Despite that, there service was really really impressive. They served food and refill water bottle and take new chopsticks all so quickly. Waiters had been passion, and were even passion when I said "Oishii", which means delicious. They said goodbye a lot of times politely as we left. Recommend it for a short meal break or just buy their $3 Rice Balls if in a hurry.”

We were greeted by Jason or host / server who was extremely attentive polite and informative, clearly asking for allergies and food preferences and gave good suggestions. We landed up eating so much food as it was simply delicious. Each dish tasted different and distinctive in flavour. Loved this place for its food and service beyond expectations. A must for Thai lovers who visit Banff and it’s surrounding areas. I edited the post as I loved the food so much that we ordered a take away after a day. “We were looking for something different to eat that was casual and wood not take too long to get. We noticed this restaurant while walking down the main street and thought it to be a good idea to give it a try. We are glad that we did! When entering we were immediately greeted and seated. We had multiple staff come and greet us, get our drinks and answer questions about the menu before our own server was able to come due to him receiving a large party just prior to our arrival. When he arrived he was not frazzled. He was fully engaged with us and continued the great service. The food came out quickly and was delicious! They did not skimp on tzaziki sauce at all and best of all my boys were full and satisfied before they had the time to get restless and disruptive. It is a great place to bring children for a healthy meal that tastes great! I had the Kabob Meal anf Kalamari. It was cooked perfectly and hit the spot!”

“Great food here! Everything made from fresh produce. Try the Elk, Bison or beef burgers for a real big treat. We also tried the specialty of the house which is the 3 course Elk Short Rib meal. Had it with the housemade Cream of Spinach and it was delicious 😋 And the chocolate mousse foe desert was sweet enough! They make a good Old Fashion and great Mimi to with fresh mint. Would recommend anytime if you love great food!”
