“Perfect start into the day with a breakfast at Trailhead Café. Big Breakfast (Eggs your way, toast, hash browns, sausage or ham or bacon) and a Carrot Pineapple Loaf (10/10). All of it was just so delicious. Freshly prepared. Great ingredients. Cappuccino and Latte were good as well. 😍 Service was kind and friendly. Recommend it when being around in Lake Louise. Inside and outside possibilities to sit. Recommend outside, as it is very small and the kitchen and counter to order are kinda right next to you.”

“We had stayed at this Lodge many times over the past 30 years and were excited to return in September after its extensive renovation and remodel. It is absolutely stunning to behold! The footprint remains the same…the iconic roof, the stunning fireplaces! The interior space now houses 17 spacious guest rooms…with elegant furnishings and modern bathrooms! All new windows…no more rattling! Reinforced walls that were quite soundproof. Elegant and comfortable places to sit on the main floor and a beautiful bar. Fantastic staff and truly perhaps the best Chef and Sous Chef and crew in all of the Rockies! Wish we lived closer and could go more often…certainly will add it to our yearly trip from California! Kudos to the ownership, management and staff for creating such a treasure that is so perfectly situated away from the crowds on exquisite Bow Lake! A perfect getaway on the spectacular Icefields Parkway.”

“This is the only cafe in the lake Morriane area which opens at 9 AM. The options are good but the fruits and bread are not particularly fresh. Would recommend carrying your own food and beverage if coming for a hike in the area.”

“We went there because my daughter wanted the bulgogi based on images found on Google. Unfortunately, that dish was no longer on the menu. However, there was plenty to choose from. Food is fusion based, nothing authentic but well seasoned. We enjoyed our dinner. There is parking and food is considered fair priced for Lake Louise region.”

“After a long day of exploring, we went to Javalanche for dinner and were very happy with our meals! I got the shrimp curry, my husband got a burger and we split poutine. The service was great and the views of the mountains were lovely! I would definitely eat there again.”

“Beautiful lodge which was a pleasure to visit. The interior could benefit from a refresh and outside on the exterior, added water points dotted around for using your own bottles would be a massive plus. The Park & Ride system works, especially to Moraine Lake. The Gondola was fun as an experience and offered great views, although a bit hazy and I felt not good value for money at $60 per adult.”
