“Great view from the cabin onto Lake Agnes. Moderate hike up but we'll worth the views. The lemonade was very tasty. You will likely be waiting a while to be served as it gets very busy. Also only takes cash.”

“Luxury, elegance and quality at the highest level! We had breakfast here and everything was so good. You get to order a breakfast dish and then there's a gourmet buffet station. It's the perfect place after you take a morning stroll by the lake.”

“It was a nice surprise to see an ice cream store late around 9:30pm. I just wished they would allow tasting. My daughter found the berry ice cream a tad too sweet. $6 a scoop. We had a great time eating ice cream by the lake.”

“This is the hotel's solution to separating any visitor tourists from these guests. It is down the left-side corridor with a view of the entry circle. It has expensive food and drinks to grab if you are hungry. There is no designated seating but people just sat on the heaters along the windowsill. Good place to go to the toilet and fill up a water bottle.”

“Amazing meal, amazing atmosphere. Such a great portion considering location. Melissa was an amazing waitress and even offered to fill us up on water for hiking. Highly recommend!”

“You are definitely paying for the location when staying at the property. I loved being able to get up before sunrise and walk to Lake Louise each morning. . Issues: my room was “double booked” and I was not notified of this until I was standing at the check in desk. I was given a smaller room with less beds and this was very inconvenient for our group of (4). I was not offered a discount or any thing else for the huge inconvenience. Only an insincere apology. It was 11pm at night and I was exhausted after driving all day, so I had to take what I could get. The hot tub was closed for maintenance and we were never put on notice. The ice machine never worked the whole time we were here. No elevators (however, I am understanding to the fact that it is an old lodge. So this wasn’t a huge issue). I was disappointed that there was no fridge in the room for our lunch items we were storing in a cooler. . The breakfast was good, but the flow is not set up very well and the food ran out quickly with long waits for refills. . Overall: I would stay here again just for the location, but I would come with very low expectations.”

“A small grocery store next to Lake Louis visitor center. Everything is super overpriced. They have some frozen and fresh vegetables. They have homemade banana bread. They don't accept Amex and Discover.”

“Came about this place by sheer luck. We only had to try the pastries once to know we'd be back. Us and everyone else because the waiting line was always around the corner. If you like fresh bread and cheese croissants, this unassuming place will hit the spot.”

“Sweet tooth’s this is your place to indulge in the many sweets and fudge they offer here. Great prices as well. Staff are very informative on pretty everything they sell there so don’t hesitate to ask them on what your getting into.”

“Perfect start into the day with a breakfast at Trailhead Café. Big Breakfast (Eggs your way, toast, hash browns, sausage or ham or bacon) and a Carrot Pineapple Loaf (10/10). All of it was just so delicious. Freshly prepared. Great ingredients. Cappuccino and Latte were good as well. 😍 Service was kind and friendly. Recommend it when being around in Lake Louise. Inside and outside possibilities to sit. Recommend outside, as it is very small and the kitchen and counter to order are kinda right next to you.”

“This restaurant has a great ambience, lovely food and it's great to watch the long trains passing by. We made a reservation before we left the UK as Lake Louise doesn’t have many restaurants and not many take a reservation. The restaurant is located at the end of a short road following the Bow River in the old Lake Louise station house. It is a very grand building with high ceilings and lots of space for diners. The tables are very well spaced out. For our starters, we shared a good sized portion of coconut shrimp. For the mains, my hubby had the pork schnitzel and I had the bison lasagne. Again, the portion sizes were generous and hot. Both meals were delicious. There are lots of tables in areas you can't see so how busy it was, I don't know. The central section where we were located was busy though and the service was good. Not the cheapest place to eat in Lake Louise, but you get what you pay for. We had 3 nights and 3 places to eat and this was the most formal of the 3. The service was very good, the food and food choices were excellent and I would recommend eating here. Total bill with tips $137, £84”

“If you want fine dining and not staying at The Fairmont, go here. All dishes are very good, the service is excellent, the interior is a bit old-fashioned. Wine list is very extensive. A very good experience in Lake Louise.”

“We had stayed at this Lodge many times over the past 30 years and were excited to return in September after its extensive renovation and remodel. It is absolutely stunning to behold! The footprint remains the same…the iconic roof, the stunning fireplaces! The interior space now houses 17 spacious guest rooms…with elegant furnishings and modern bathrooms! All new windows…no more rattling! Reinforced walls that were quite soundproof. Elegant and comfortable places to sit on the main floor and a beautiful bar. Fantastic staff and truly perhaps the best Chef and Sous Chef and crew in all of the Rockies! Wish we lived closer and could go more often…certainly will add it to our yearly trip from California! Kudos to the ownership, management and staff for creating such a treasure that is so perfectly situated away from the crowds on exquisite Bow Lake! A perfect getaway on the spectacular Icefields Parkway.”

“Although we didn't stay at the Lake Louis Inn, we enjoyed two dinners there over two nights. They offer a diverse menu and serve exceptionally delicious meals. I adore the ambiance of the restaurant. Upon entering, you're greeted by a lofty atrium with wooden architecture, and I'm particularly fond of this kind of design. Adjacent to the main hall, there's also a cozy waiting area designed with a warm and inviting atmosphere.”

“This is the only cafe in the lake Morriane area which opens at 9 AM. The options are good but the fruits and bread are not particularly fresh. Would recommend carrying your own food and beverage if coming for a hike in the area.”

“Great restaurant in the Lake Louise Inn! Food was definitely not cheap but was delicious and high quality. Food wait time was a bit lengthy, but the overall service was very friendly and welcoming! My party ordered Garlic Bread, Fish & Chips, Bison Short Ribs (not pictured), the Wagyu Burger, and the Elk Burger. All of which were amazing and filling! I definitely recommend, especially if you are staying in the Inn.”

“The Lake Louise Village Grill is a busy tourist stop for lunch. It's located upstairs in the Samson shopping mall and is accessible by elevator. I noticed this place has a lot of bad reviews about the service. We were fortunate enough to have a great experience with an extremely quick turnaround time! The difference may be that we told them right away that we only had 45 minutes total to eat, so we could make our next tour on time. They proceeded to hustle and make it happen. We ordered the veggie burger and spring rolls. Both were great! The views from upstairs were really nice too. I would highly recommend communicating with the staff to let them know if you are in a hurry. Give them a chance to accommodate before writing a bad review.”

“We went there because my daughter wanted the bulgogi based on images found on Google. Unfortunately, that dish was no longer on the menu. However, there was plenty to choose from. Food is fusion based, nothing authentic but well seasoned. We enjoyed our dinner. There is parking and food is considered fair priced for Lake Louise region.”

“After a long day of exploring, we went to Javalanche for dinner and were very happy with our meals! I got the shrimp curry, my husband got a burger and we split poutine. The service was great and the views of the mountains were lovely! I would definitely eat there again.”

“Delicious ramen and sushi. Such a great meal to have in the middle of a ski day! Amazing service too. Seems some people have given low reviews because of speediness, but if you show up before crowds, it’s very reasonable. Or worth the wait if it’s busy!”

“Beautiful lodge which was a pleasure to visit. The interior could benefit from a refresh and outside on the exterior, added water points dotted around for using your own bottles would be a massive plus. The Park & Ride system works, especially to Moraine Lake. The Gondola was fun as an experience and offered great views, although a bit hazy and I felt not good value for money at $60 per adult.”

“On our recent trip to Lake Louise, we decided to take the Lake Louise Gondola ride. We were pleasantly surprised to find free return transport from Lake Louise village to the Gondola which was prompt and comfortable. You enter via the Ski Lodge which in itself is a great visitor attraction. It has all the charm you would expect with a great café, visitor shop and friendly welcoming staff. The ride to the top of the Gondola was comfortable with full panoramic views over the lakes and mountains but the best part of the view was the grizzly bear we spotted casually munching his was along the slopes. At the top there is a great interpretive centre that has animal exhibits and information on the local area and history. There are several hiking trails at the top that aren't too strenuous and deliver top class views, there are also plenty of picnic areas to enjoy the pristine wilderness when you’re at the top. Overall if you are visiting Lake Louise in summer, you should really give the gondola a visit.”

“Great place for hungry skiiers. We ate here every day. Breakfast is $15CAD for buffet eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles and an omelette station. Coffee is also included. You can’t beat it. Lunch is also $15CAD for unlimited pasta cooked to your liking. You choose any sauce, any type of pasta and any fillings and they make it on the spot. Fantastic.”

“Stopped for ice cream- salted caramel in a waffle cone was da bomb! The vibe, the setting at the base of the mountain, the view - all worth it! Didn't taste the food but people around me were having lunch. The lady at the bar was super nice and friendly. Great place to stop before or after the gondola ride!”

“We stopped in for lunch and each of us ordered something different; the power bowl with chicken, the duck confit poutine, the beef dip sandwich, the chicken pot pie and the burger and it was all delicious. Excellent service and reasonable prices!”

“Spent four days skiing the only open run and trying different menu items. The hot chocolate with rye and maple was presented with two chocolate sticks and whipped topping. Make sure you remember to add quinoa next time please. The chili was pretty decent. Bit pricey but thats mountain life.”
