Horseshoe Canyon

A great place for families to visit and hike around. Come on out and take advantage of the great fall weather. The parking area has been expanded and access to the viewing points is easy.

Complete change of scenery compared to Calgary and the mountains. Lots of cool rocks to see along the way and even dinosaur bones if you know what to look for. Our kids love walking up the hills and hoodoos as we enjoy a nice, flat walk with the baby. There is a picnic area and bathrooms, all of it stroller accessible. However the actual hike along the canyon requires to go through stairs

A great, easy hike that allows you to take in the amazing landscape. Took my two boys (7, 11) and my 70-year-old mom and everyone enjoyed the walk. Clambering up rocks was a big hit with the kids!

Neat! Super pumped their was a trail down into the canyon! What a neat experience. To feel the canyon with your hands is like touching history. I can't get enough of exploring otherworldly places.
