“Salon Olivine & Madison helped me fall in love with my hair again. The salon itself is beautifully constructed, accessible, inviting and warm. I am always greeted by a smiling team member who offers to take my coat and grab a beverage for me. My hair service starts with a choice of three aromatherapy scents and a quick scalp massage that completely changes my frame of mind (I’m usually flying in directly from work). I have a lot of hair, it’s long and it takes extra time to do anything with it, washing, drying and styling at home for me can easily take an hour and a half if I stay focused so my default for years was to throw it in a ponytail or bun. I’ve been seeing Madison for two years now and over that time not only has she expertly cared for me each and every visit, but she has also taught me how to care for my hair at at home. She has showed me how to properly use products and set me up with the right tools to get the job done between visits. I’ve been able to noticeably reduce the amount of time it takes me to work with my hair and have better results, it’s healthier, stronger, shinier and I love it again. “I was just in the store looking for a certain of fabric which unfortunately they didn't carry. They had some that was close but not exactly what I was looking for. The gentleman very nicely phoned another material shop close by but a bit difficult to get to because of construction. They did not carry what I was looking for so I was saved a trip which I really appreciated. The shop was one where you could spend hours, if you were a sewer or quilter, looking through the stock on hand. The owners were very pleasant and willing to help as I stated earlier. The only complaint I had was trying to get into store. The step upon to the sidewalk is high and very difficult to get onto especially if one has difficulty walking and climbing steps. I use a cane but little strength in arms and legs. A lady was just getting out of her car and came over to help me. The gentleman in the shop helped me down when I left. Evidently there is a graduated end of the sidewalk but way down at the end and not marked or any indication it was there. Not an easy access to the shops in the strip mall for handicap people.”
