“A wonderful quiet, clean campground with or without services. Potable water and dump on site. Excellent WIFI. The cleanest shower I've experienced in any campground. Very friendly operator and townspeople. Lovely museum. I will be back for sure.”

“Whilst there was the inevitable blue green algae that prevented us getting out on the water this campground is a hidden gem. The well loved, super sweet, boardwalk is so nice and (when lucky) provides lots of photographs for the bird watcher. Power (& water on some) sites are a bonus, as is the dump station. There’s a 12k gravel road (well maintained) to the site and it’s reservation only (so no fingers crossed if you’re a way out of town.) It’s close enough to Drumheller and the Tyrell etc but super quiet too. It’s definitely on our list now! Dark skies at night are also a photographer’s delight too!”

“Situated on the Red Deer River, surrounded by eroded hillsides, this campground is scenic, quiet, and spacious. The dark skies are perfect for stargazing. Footpaths going into the hills give the opportunity to explore the amazing geology of the area. Campsites backing onto the river are spectacular.”
