“We stayed 3 nights at this campground and we loved every minute of it. We stayed at a site backing up to the river. The river is shallow and swimmable. Lots of walking/ cycling paths. The sites are large with lots of shade. Flush toilets in the main shower house and showers and firewood are free. No fire bans ever due to their watering schedule. Camp caretaker Gary is an excellent host. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! Cell phone service is sketchy which made our stay even more memorable! There’s an off leash dog park about 2km away by the Trout pond. My pooch had a great time too.”
