Fishboat Bay Park

One of the best kept secrets in the region. Just a short jaunt from Sooke. Plenty of parking at the end of the road and a short trail through the woods and down some stairs to a very sheltered and sandy beach. The beach is situated such that it is sheltered from the windy and cool conditions that often prevail in our area during the summer. It's really quite something: you'll be wondering if you should bring a sweater when you step out of the car, only to be baking in the heat on the beach.

Lots of rocks and tide pools to explore. Be sure to check the tide because on high tides you may not have much beach to work with.

Amazing sandy, small beach tucked away in a Cove along west coast Rd. Just a short walk down stairs leads you to a fairly secluded beach which mostly attracts locals.

July 2/2018. Not a very large beach. Although enough area for you to sit back and enjoy the nice view.Kids seem to love the place.At low tide you can walk about a bit .A very short 2 mins from the parking lot. I did see a toilet for those moments of personal needs.
